Come rest your mind and renew your inspiration at Towd Point Landing, a tranquil seaside oasis of natural beauty and wildlife.
Towd Point has been called The Hamptons of yesteryear with its slow pace and rustic charm. There are no mansions here, or pools, or tennis courts…only a pristine bay, a harbor, an inlet, a world class beach and remarkable sunsets.
The space:
Towd Point Landing is a two-story dwelling of approximately 1400sf/130sqm. The preserved natural wetlands on each side of the property provide privacy.
The home features a primary bedroom with a private 30' balcony and full bath on the upper level, and two small bedrooms with water views on the lower level that are served by a separate full bath.
The kitchen is fully equipped (and we mean FULLY). The inviting living room features a working fireplace and 65” TV. The kitchen, living room, and dining area all have remarkable panoramic views of the inlet and salt marsh.
Guests can swim in the water right off the patio and can launch the two kayaks and two stand-up-paddleboards, (seasonally) included in the rental.
Guest access:
Towd Point Landing is just a 10 minute Taxi/Uber from the Hampton Jitney station in Southampton, and Southampton Long Island Railroad station.
There are three small grocery stores/delis, a farmer’s market, seafood market and a liquor store all within a couple of mile’s distance as well as restaurants.
Our pristine bay beach is a 5 minute scenic stroll down the road. Cooper’s Beach is the closest ocean beach and is a 15 minute drive. Daily ocean beach parking is available for a fee.
The regal town of Southampton is a 12 minute drive and has a full size supermarket (Stop & Shop), a CVS, and many exclusive shops and restaurants. The beautiful waterside town of Sag Harbor is an 18 minute drive and also offers many great shops, restaurants, and a gorgeous marina.
Bring your car on the South Ferry (a 20 minute drive) and embark on a magical day trip to Shelter Island, which hosts the legendary Sunset Beach hotel and restaurant and world class bay beaches.
