Nice place, awesome neighborhood
The home itself was nice and the neighborhood is awesome and very walkable. We had a few minor issues; the front door lock and code wasn't working so it took a bit to go back and forth with the manager and luckily there was also a code box with key on property to allow us entry. It was a tiring 10-hour drive day so this was a bit frustrating upon arrival. Parking was also a bit frustrating. The garage spot is very small and we were unable to access it due to a car being parked behind it for a home across the alley. The instructions inside the home said parking was available in several marked spots but after going back and forth with the manager we were told only the small garage was available. Street parking was always fairly packed but we were able to park about a block down. The home is on window units so it was hot upon arrival, they did work well once they got going but it took a bit to cool down initially. Otherwise, the home is cozy, nicely updated and was comfortable for my family of 3 to stay and visit nearby colleges.

Nice apartment, some things to note
Three of us stayed here for a few nights. The neighborhood is great, and the space itself looks freshly remodeled and was very clean and the host was very responsive. There are some things to note, some of which the owner can do little to nothing about: * as noted in another review, the upstairs neighbor is pretty noisy. Lots of heavy stomping starting around 5:30 am until 6 or so, then again starting in the late afternoon. Chalk it up to apartment living. * the property has access to a VERY small garage. We had a Nissan Pathfinder, which barely fit (we had to pull in the mirrors). Anything larger and you're out of luck. Street parking in this neighborhood is tough, so if the garage might not work for you than it becomes a consideration. * as noted elsewhere, some doors don't close all the way without some effort. Seems like they weren't part of the remodel. * the internet was rock solid, but the TV often dropped the connection to the router. We watched TV via our laptop and the supplied HDMI cable, but not ideal. All things considered, we would stay here again due to the location but would likely first look for another property in the area.

1.The management was very good. 2. The property was clean. 3. The internet was NOT NOT GOOD. TV service went on and off the entire time hence was not able to enjoy our normal news and other programs. 4. The doors to the bedrooms and bathroom were very squeaky and the noise from upstairs was quite load starting at 5:30AM. 5. The power in the kitchen went on and off hence I had to reset the power. 6. I will say it was neat and clean and the managers were very nice and cooperative with the issues and responded promptly. They did the best they could. 7. To sum it up -- fix the internet, fix the squeaky doors, fix the power in the kitchen and with these issues fixed you have a very nice place.
