★ RENTAL AGREEMENT ★
After booking your stay with us, we kindly ask our guests to complete a rental agreement. This is a standard procedure designed to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for all parties involved in renting homes in North Carolina. When signing the rental agreement, you are agreeing to share this agreement and the house rules with all parties that will be on the property during your stay. This rental agreement applies to "everyone" staying or visiting the property.
★ ADDITIONAL SCREENING ★
Our company uses a third-party screening service called Safely. You may receive an email from Safely asking you for additional information to verify your identity such as your home address and date of birth. Please visit the Safely website if you would like additional information.
★ TRUST & SAFETY FEE ★
Our company applies a single, nonrefundable fee of $100 for a Safely Protection Policy. We do not collect a security deposit. A Safely Protection Policy (short-term rental insurance) ensures that the guest, the home and its contents are protected during the stay.
★ CLEANING & SANITIZATION ★
Health, safety, and well-being of our guests are of utmost importance. For this reason, we use a thorough cleaning process after each check-out.
★ POOLS & HOT TUBS ★
If this home has a pool or hot tub, please check the listing or ask the host for the operational schedule. Most pools are seasonal running only May 15- Oct 15 each year.
★ NOT A PET-FRIENDLY HOME ★
We love those little (and not so little) furry bundles of joy. Sadly, our home is not suitable to accommodate them. Should you bring pets without obtaining prior permission from the host, there will be a $400 infraction fee, and your stay will be subject to cancellation with no refund and an expedited eviction.
★ NO SMOKING INSIDE ★
Smoking and vaping are not permitted inside of the home. If you smoke outside the home, please clean up after.
★ SECURITY CAMERAS ★
All of our homes have exterior security cameras for the safety and security of our guests. Exterior cameras are pointed at areas of ingress and egress from the home. There are no cameras on the interior the home.
★ NO THIRD PARTY BOOKINGS ★
For the safety and tranquility of our guests and neighbors, we strictly prohibit third-party bookings. The person making the reservation must be the one staying at the property.
★ NO PARTIES/EVENTS ★
We kindly ask you to treat our home as your own to preserve its pristine condition for future guests and your return visits. We do not accept reservations from individuals under the age of 25, especially for high school or college parties.

★ THE NEIGHBORHOOD & AREA ★
Southern Shores is a town in the Outer Banks with trees and green space - perfect for your walk to the beach or bike ride. Several neighbors are full-time homeowners so it is important to keep the peace during quiet hours of 930pm-800am.
This spacious home sits a block west of Highway 12 in Southern Shores, just over half a mile from the Hillcrest Beach Access. This allows for easy access to Kitty Hawk and South as well as beating the traffic on the turnover day! This area does not have "public" beaches. You will need to use the guest passes provided. You can walk, ride your bike or drive just a half-mile to the beach access.
Within the community, you'll have access to marinas, tennis and volleyball courts, and a lovely park for kids. This is also a wonderful home base for exploring the rest of the Outer Banks, with Duck only two miles north and the Wright Brothers National Memorial nine miles south.
