Blue Mere is an inviting coastal retreat located on a quiet street in Avon, just 450 feet from the beach walkway. Just over the dunes is the wide beautiful Avon beach. It's central location is close to shops, restaurants and a grocery store.

Enjoy the large furnished deck while cooking on a gas grill. Step inside and you will see bright, cheerful decor throughout the home. The open living, dining and kitchen area has a cathedral ceiling that makes it easy for everyone to gather together.

This is a 4 bedroom, 2 bath quaint cottage. You will find a full kitchen which includes a dishwasher, air fryer/toaster oven, coffee maker, tea kettle, microwave, stove/oven, dishes, pots/pans and utensils.
There are 3 bar stools along the counter and a table that has 8 chairs. There is a sofa, loveseat, 2 chairs and a rocking chair. There is a 65" smart tv in the living room.
In the master bedroom there is a king bed, full private bath/shower and a 55" smart tv.
The blue and green bedrooms have queen beds with 43" smart tvs.
There are 2 sets of bunk beds in the bunk bed room (for children 125 lbs or less) with a 43" smart tv.
Parking is limited to 3 vehicles, in order not to block the neighbors’ driveways.

Cozy cottage close to the beach!

Blue Mere is a great place for a beach vacation. We enjoyed a weekend in February there with family and appreciated the quiet pace of Avon. This cottage is set up for the summer months though with a big deck and outdoor shower; the beach access is only a few steps away. Inside the kitchen area flows into the living space separated from the bedrooms. This provides a nice arrangement for those who may want some quiet time. The bedrooms are all well appointed and even though we didn’t need the bunk room it’s easy to see that is a great option for younger visitors. Our host was very accommodating and communicative providing timely information about the cottage and the village. She has obviously spent significant effort in making this place welcoming to all visitors. Her decorations are beachy and so on point. Overall this is a fantastic place to stay! Highly recommended!

Quaint cottage with easy beach access

Great little cottage that had everything we needed for our short stay. The furnishings were comfortable and the rooms well appointed. It’s an older cottage tucked back between some other houses with only a short walk to a boardwalk to the giant beach. Thanks to the owner for the great communication as we were trying to navigate plans around the tropical storm.

Relaxing long weekend

I really enjoyed this stay. Very responsive host. The cleaner prior to arrival noticed the AC wasnt working and contacted the host communicated what was happening and then checked on us to ensure things were great. This place was an easy walk to the beach and I really enjoyed the less busy area of Avon. My wife and I said we would both come back to this area in a heart beat. Great stay.
