Unit is over hole 5 on Ocean Course and golf balls hitting the unit and the parking spot was a regular occurrence. Lydia is an excellent property manager. She helped tremendously when the water got shut off to the unit and she had to relocate us for a week

Easter Stay

The villa was well equipped and the location within the rio mar complex and the beach great. The host Lydia was very attentive and helpful. The only downside was that the oven did not worked and the air conditioning of the main area dripped water the whole stay. Asides from that it was a pleasant stay.

Good Stay

Pictures were accurate. Villa is very clean, the air conditioners worked really well, and it was a great "home base." The owners left coffee and sugar in the kitchen which was very good. It was a convenient location to many excursions and San Juan. The beach was gorgeous and a 10 minute walk. They have an outdoor shower which we loved. It was fairly cool water but it's so hot out it felt nice. The negatives, not all of which relate to the villa and not all would be important to all guests. 1. We are excellent ocean swimmers but couldn't really enjoy the local beach due to rip currents the entire week we were there. 2. There is no easy place to get healthy food. We found the grocery store lacking in quality fresh fruits and vegetables and no places seemed to have ANY fresh fruit or vegetables. Everything at the hotel was outrageously expensive (water was $8 for a bottle). If you are a "healthy" eater it's difficult to find healthy food options. 3. The refrigerator is old and froze all our lettuce and apples and melon that we did buy at the grocery store. 4. The power went out for three hours one night, and the TV remotes stopped working twice and both really interrupted our stay negatively. 5. We found locating the villa to be a nightmare at the end of a 15 hour travel day and recommended much better directions. Overall we would stay there again, but maybe in a different unit.

I am an aunt, sister, and friend to many people.

The property is very comfortable, has cross ventilation, overlooks the golf course, is within walking distance to the beach, and is steps from the Cluster's pool. Being part of Rio Mar Cluster 2, it enjoys two swimming pools: Cluster and Beach Club.
