About this property

A real turnkey Guest adventure with a fully furnished completely updated 5th wheel camper. A peaceful, quiet place to stay while enjoying a unique Catfish Pond. Secluded, however, only 20 minutes away from local stores, downtown, Shands, North Florida, U of F, etc. Cottage is truly in the forest with a grapefruit tree right by the deck. Nature sounds are heard during the day as well as at nighttime.

Exactly what I needed

The "Cottage" was exactly what i expected, was looking for and needed for my time in Gainesville. it's well enough off the beaten path for a "getaway"from the hustle of the city, yet near enough that anything i needed was never more than an easy 20 minute trek.

Beautiful

Julia and Jean were real sweet. There were some minor technical difficulties. I drove from Orlando to Gainesville and got to the trailer late. It was locked. Jean thought I was coming the next day. So I had to wait a while to get in. They live 15 minutes away. I stayed awhole week and there were some mechanical difficulties with the trailer. But Jean and Julia were very responsive and kind. The price was so reasonable and it was so beautiful out in the countryside. If i ever make it back to Gainesville im definitely staying in the 5th wheel trailer again GOD BLESS!!!!!

Nice place

This would have been a perfect get away for myself and my husband had we not been facing personal issues. This is a wonderful retreat.

Why they chose this property

The 5th wheel "cottage" is located on 7 acres next to my Grandson. The setting is rural, yet only 20 minutes from town center and University of Florida. It definitely is not the young student activity; it is very quiet and tranquil. It is a camping experience and not to be compared to a 5-star resort. It is absolutely a wonderful cottage and nice place to stay.
