Imagine your days kayaking, scalloping or fishing on Crystal River with direct access just minutes away from the Gulf of Mexico. Discover Deep Sea Fishing and swimming with Manatees or simply take just take some time out to soak in the sun at Fort Island beach or enjoy nature walks and bird watching at nearby preserves that are all just a few miles away.
Riverside Retreat is located is a peaceful neighborhood on a canal. Inside you will find that it is equipped with all of the amenities you will need to make your stay relaxing and enjoyable. The kitchen has updated appliances, a coffee station and is fully stocked with new pots and pans, dinnerware, utensils and so much more. There spacious living/dining open concept is perfect for your family and entertaining guests. The master bedroom is spacious with its own private bath. The guest bedrooms are cozy and all rooms are equipped with a television to help unwind at the end of a busy day. Other additional activities like board games, puzzles, cards and corn hole boards are available for family and friends to enjoy. Also, don’t forget to bring your fishing rods to fish off the new floating dock!
There is a public boat ramp 1 mile from the house, so bring your boat! (recomended up to 23ft) The canal empties into Crystal River and is a short boat ride to the Gulf of Mexico where you can fish, go scalloping or simply choose to anchor your boat and relax at a nearby sandbar hangout. If you head south on the river, that will take you to Kings Bay, Three Sisters Springs, Hunter Springs, waterfront restaurants and bars. There are also several hiking trails, preserves and state parks within a few miles where you can enjoy nature and wildlife. In the cooler months, don’t forget to come swim with the Manatees!!

- 2 Adult / 2 Children paddles
- 2 Adult / 2 Children life jackets
Kayaking from the house to the Springs is about a 30-45 minutes paddle, depending on your skill level.
Kayaking from Hunter Springs to Three Sisters is about 20 minutes depending on boat traffic.
Tides fluctuate in the canal, depending on your draft and you will need to watch the tides.
