END UNIT condominium in Bigwood with sunny exposure and views with no one above, below or shared walls. 120v outlet in garage for EV Charging (contact Owner for more details). New windows, carpet and remodeled bathrooms. Bigwood is located in a quiet neighborhood in town on Majestic Pines, has a nice view of trees and the Sherwin Mountains, and is adjacent to the Sierra Star golf course. Steps away are a large outdoor spa, laundry facilities, and a swimming pool open during the summer only. The yellow line shuttle (free service) travels to Eagle Lodge and the Village and is a short walk of .25 miles. Chair 15 is a quick drive of .75 miles from this woodsy complex with home style architecture. This two level, two bedroom and two bathroom condominium is located in Building T, close to the Pool and spa. 14 steps to the front door. There is a fully equipped kitchen, 3 Smart TVs and Pellet Stove (pellets provided). The downstairs bedroom has a queen bed. The upstairs bedroom sleeps 6 with two bunk beds and a double bed. There is a table with 2 chairs, a full bathroom and walk in closet upstairs. The living room has a new sofa sleeper. This unit is non-smoking and has a single car garage (only one parking pass is given for the second vehicle to park outside, large vehicle may not fit). NO Pets, Service and Assistant Animals are not permitted under any conditions. We have family members that are severely allergic to animals including, but not limited to, cats and dogs. Even a professional cleaning cannot eliminate allergens. $200 penalty for violation. Cross country skiing and snow shoeing out of Tamarack Lodge is close to Bigwood. Lots of snow play areas in the winter and bike trails in the summer are just around up the road. Here are some amenities that will make your stay very enjoyable: 32" Smart TV in downstairs bedroom and Loft. 55" Smart TV' in living room. Single car garage to pull your vehicle into (78" height clearance, 92" wide). NOT enclosed but shared with 2 other units. EV charging 110v available in garage-contact Owner for more details. Storage locker outside, right by the front door, that you can lock your skis and snowboards in overnight. 6 foot wall by front door dedicated to hooks and benches for coats, boots etc. Pellet Stove that quickly warms up the living area, plenty of pellets provided.Fully equipped kitchen. Large Jacuzzi (year round) and pool (summer). Wireless internet 1 GB. Coin operated laundry available in the building by pool, very short walk from condo. Blowdryer and Lighted Magnifying Makeup Mirror. BBQ down by the pool (not available in Winter). The Unique Benefits at this Condo: You'll find that being in Bigwood allows you to be close enough to town, but in a more woodsy and residential neighborhood that is quiet and beautiful. During the winter, areas for snow play are quite close. In the summer, bike paths are close. What is unique about our condo is that it has a more modern feel while still reflecting the mountains and beauty of Mammoth. We've been coming to Mammoth for 18 years and finally bought a place of our own. It's an amazing place, both in winter and summer, and we know you'll have a great time.

The individual who books this condo MUST OCCUPY THE CONDO during the entire time of the booking. $250 violation.

WE REQUIRE A 3 NIGHT NIGHT STAY FOR ALL WINTER WEEKENDS. NO CHECK IN ON SATURDAY ALLOWED. Dec 20 - Jan 5th check in time may be pushed back to 6 pm due to back to back cleanings. Check out during that time period is firm at 10 am. Please note that we have a Ring Security Cam outside our front door and NEST Thermostat. We expect guests to use our wood stove throughout their sta. Penalties apply if the NEST shows heater use for more than 5 hours in a 24 hour period. Please see Rental Contract.

Perfect place and amazing host
This place was perfect for our 5-person group. Kelley is literally the most responsive host I’ve ever had for a rental; she went out of her way to help with everything she possibly could, really above and beyond what we had expected. The condo is set up very thoughtfully with everything you need - full kitchen ready to be cooked from. The hot tub is large and very accessible. Beds are warm and comfy. I’d give it 6 stars if I could!

Mammoth Vacation
Everything was as the listing said and the location was central to the city. There are plenty of heaters but ended up not using any of them; the place stayed warm day and night. After Labor Day is the best time to visit. I brought my kayak and wasn't unusual to be the only person on twin lakes and plenty of parking everywhere.

Great location close to Village
We loved our stay at this Big Wood Condo! The directions were great, and the location is perfect, close to the Village. The condo is clean and well equipped, and even though there were just two of us, it would be perfect for a larger group. The hosts are communicative and responsive. I would definitely recommend and would stay again.

Perfect Snowy Vacation
I will say Mother Nature played a part in us having a great vacation with 4 feet dumped two days before we arrived and another 3.5 feet scattered over the days we were there. With that being said, we had no issues with maneuvering through the area. The owners had someone shovel the area prior to the arrival to make it easier and safer for us to move. We paid it forward and shoveled around the garage and the walkway before leaving. The condo is close to everything, weather permitting you could walk to the village but we drove and most locations were 10 minutes or less. The condo driveways and roads within the complex were well maintained. The owner communicated months out throughout the trip, providing resources for the type of vacation you are looking for. The open two-way communication was beneficial, especially when trying to figure out road closures due to weather. I would definitely recommend this unit and the owners.

Why they chose this property

This condo does not share any walls with other units, no one above or below. Great views of the pool and jacuzi, short amount of stairs, garage right underneath. That's why we chose it, along with the nice view of the Sherwins and lots of bright sunlight through the windows.

What makes this property unique

Our condo is a blend of rustic and modern. Its much different from the folksy and cute decor many in Mammoth have.
