After a 2 year-long construction project, we are thrilled to present The Beach Haven.
Opting for a clean and uncluttered energy, you’ll find this property equipped for the most discerning guests.
A fully stocked, gourmet kitchen awaits with everything you may need to enjoy a nice meal at the kitchen bar or at the outdoors dining table.

The living space displays a minimalist modern decor with a hint of mid-century style. Colors, are serene and neutral, and comfort is the standard.
Wall-to-wall windows flood the space with beautiful natural light. This room is equipped with a half bath, a flat 50” TV screen facing a comfortable couch that becomes a queen size bed.

With two bedrooms and 2 baths on the second level, there’s space to comfortably accommodate 4 people.
The primary bedroom features a king bed, an ensuite bath and balcony to enjoy the sunrise with a cup of coffee or to take a break while enjoying the view with a glass of wine.
The second bedroom offers two comfortable twin sizes beds with an ensuite full bathroom.
The outdoor amenities are just as spectacular, with a large deck offering both a lounge and dining area. There’s even a space for your yoga practice. The sunny backyard features a grill and a fire pit, perfect for an evening of stargazing, a glass of wine or s’mores.

Getting to Know Parrita – The Town
Conveniently located to many of the area’s natural amenities, you’re literally steps from the ocean (10 min walk or 3 min drive), and just a short drive to town or the many recreation opportunities like the Turtle Sanctuary at Playa Bandera, the Rainmaker Park, Manuel Antonio National Park, Jaco Beach, among others.
The town of Parrita is safe community, full of Costa Rica’s authentic culture. You’ll find local artisan small shops, supermarkets, convenience stores and restaurants. Craft beer, cocktails, and farm-to-table cuisine are the norm.

Not so Haven

First I would like to say the owners Diana and Rolf got back to us quickly, if we had questions. The air conditioning worked really well. There is a unit in every room and downstairs.The bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the bedding was nice too. The blackout drapes were nice to have.If you're sensitive to light when you sleep, then this place is not for you. It was so hot while we were there that we needed to sleep with the AC on all night. The unit emits a bright light while its on and it illuminated the whole room, not to mention all the lights behind the tv.The biggest issue we had at this rental was the water temp in the shower. We were there for 2 weeks and we never had a warm shower, it was either scalding hot or cold. I was told by the owner its an issue with water supply, but thats not true. They have an issue with how the hot water from the tank is distributed through the house. Probably requires some kind of valve to regulate this. The air conditioner downstairs is right above the TV which cannot be on if you're trying to watch television, unless you like having cold air blowing on you. The televisions were left in spanish and german, which made it difficult to use the controls. English is the primary language of the world, things like this should be left in english.The clothes dryer does not work very well. I had to ask the owner to supply a drying rack so we could dry our clothes that way. Gap at entrance door let in gecos and spiders.

Very Nice House

The Beach Haven is a nearly new home that is very nice.We were here with our adult daughters for 5 nights. The air conditioner worked good which was very nice. The WIFI worked good on the main floor, but we could never get it work on the 2nd floor.That was fine for us as we wanted to unplug on our vacation anyway. The pool was very nice to cool off and relax in. The water pressure was not great in the showers, and it was hard to regulate the temperature. This was not a major issue for us, we just had to take some cooler showers. The master bedroom is very roomy, but the second bedroom had two twin beds in it and was tight. But it was nice having two bathrooms. The home is behind 2 gates, so we felt very safe in the home.The house is 1 mile from the beach, so between a 15-20 min walk. When it's hot out, I would recommend driving. The beach was not busy at all and very beautiful. The sunsets are amazing. They did warn of heavy rip currents, so you have to be very careful swimming. It is a black sand beach. As far as the area, you are about 30 min South of Jaco, and 30 min. North of Quepos/Manual Antonio. Paritta is not a tourist town itself, so to do any activities besides the beach, you need a car or will need to travel a little ways by taxi. We ate at several different places in the area and the food was excellent. We liked the food in Paritta better than Quepos. The owners were very responsive and helped with any questions that we had. We had a great stay.

Beautiful Modern House Close to the Beach.

Very Clean property. Diana was very greatful and always making sure everything was up to par. Loved the gated community with only 5 houses around. Very private and tranquil. Even though its a 40 minute drive to Quepos or Jaco, It is very worth it. I will be staying in this home away from my home in Costa Rica in the future.
