Beautiful Backyard, Well Stocked, Quiet- Kachina Desert Oasis- Superhost

Superhost! Rest and relax in this quiet family neighborhood just 15 minutes south of Sky Harbor Airport. Splash in the gated private pool; walk or bike to the close-by trailheads of South Mountain Park. Rejuvenate with cool drinks in the back yard on the comfy seating areas under a covered patio, and watch the amazing sunsets during daily Golden Hour.

This updated house has a large dining table, kitchen table, and outdoor dining. An RV gate has room for all your toys up to 30'.

The space
INDOORS - This ranch house is fully furnished and beautifully updated with 4 bedrooms and 2 baths, including a bathtub - the master has a king, two guest rooms have a queen each, and one guest room has a daybed that can be separated and sleeps 2, plus a Pack 'n Play for the little ones. The house sleeps 8. There is lots of dining space for your family and friends - the dining room table seats 6-8, the kitchen table seats 4-6, and the counter seats 2 on saddle stools. There is a leaf for both tables. A high chair is also provided.

The master bedroom has a large work space with a large desk and office chair. Another small desk is in another bedroom for more work space.

OUTDOORS -There is plenty of outdoor seating for relaxing! In the back yard, there is a large cushioned sectional and other chairs under a covered patio, and another cushioned seating sectional next to the grassy area.

A round wrought iron table and six matching chairs are provided for your outdoor dining pleasure.

The pool has a 5 ft. tall self-closing gate for safety. Also in the pool area you'll find more outdoor lounging/seating, and a patio umbrella for shade. Pool towels are also provided. The pool is available year-round but is not heated. There is an attached pool waiver in the rental agreement that will need to be signed. I will send it via email closer to your stay if needed to e-sign.

There is parking for 3 cars on the driveway, a full size truck in front of the RV gate, and street parking is also available. Adult and child bikes and helmets are available for use in the garage. If you need use of the garage space for RV repairs or additional storage, please let us know and we can accommodate you.

We have outside security cameras by front door, garage and both side gates.

We are very close to the main highway (I-10), grocery stores, restaurants, lots of great shopping, and within walking distance of Western Star Park, a public park with two new playgrounds, tennis courts, basketball hoops, and more. The Secret Garden wedding venue is less than 15 minutes away.

We are here for our guests, as much or as little as you need us! We cannot fix issues without knowing about them during your stay. If there is an emergency that needs our attention right away, please contact the host directly. That phone number will be provided to you upon your arrival. Otherwise, we like to respect our guests' privacy and will leave you to enjoy your time in our home!

Guest access
The neighborhood is very easy to navigate, and is just off the Elliott Rd. exit of I-10. The driveway can fit 3 cars across, so is fairly wide. If you do park on the street, we ask that you only park in front of our house and not in front of a neighbor's property. You will receive a code to access the house before you check in.
Other things to note
We offer a new 65 inch smart TV with an antenna in the attic that allows you to access the local channels. We offer Disney+ to our guests free of charge. You'll be able to sign in to streaming services such as Netflix, Prime Video, and Hulu using your own credentials. Please remember to sign out before you leave.

Neighborhood description
AHWATUKEE - This ranch house is located in a quiet family neighborhood just off the Elliott Rd. exit of I-10, in the part of Phoenix called Ahwatukee. It's easily walkable and bikeable, and very close to South Mountain Park and Preserve with its many hiking and biking trails. Most everything you need is within a mile or two, including grocery stores, pharmacies, restaurants, liquor stores, and shopping. Western Star Park with its playgrounds, tennis courts and basketball hoops, is within walking distance at the south end of the neighborhood.

Getting around
Take Exit 157 (Elliott Rd.) off of I-10, go west on Elliott Rd. about 1/4 mile, turn right on 48th St. Go another 1/2 mile , turn left on Mineral, and left again on E. Kachina Trail. House is second house on left. There are three parking spaces on the driveway and RV parking is available. Freeways, shopping and gas stations are very close by, at the intersection of 48th St. and Elliott Rd. On the east side of I-10, there's lots and lots more shopping, including Costco and Total Wine.
