Close enough to walk the few blocks to the laid back fishing village of Puerto Morelos, but far enough to enjoy the tranquil waters of your private beach.
This ground floor apartment is nestled aside a quiet tree lined path--about 150 feet from the pool and a few more steps to the white coral sand and beautiful blue Caribbean Sea.
You can see and hear the waves crashing over the reef and watch the palm trees swaying in the breeze.
This condo offers one very large bedroom, with a both a King and a double bed. The tiled bathroom has a shower, sink & toilet. Quality linens, bath towels, and beach towels are included.
This apartment is comfortable & casual, in an open-plan style. The kitchen is fully-equipped with everything you'll need for the meals you want to eat in. You will have a five gallon purified water dispenser, and refills can be easily delivered. The adjacent dining area can easily seat 5 people. Relax in the seating area, which includes sofa / futon.
Slip out onto the large private patio to enjoy a drink or nap in lounge chair. Or step over to the pool or beach to soak up the sun & the sea views. Looking for a bit of shade? Relax under a palapa--the typical Mexican palm-frond umbrella.
Casita Blanca is a small complex located directly on the Caribbean Sea in the tranquil fishing village of Puerto Morelos. Enjoy Casita Blanca's beautiful gardens, tiled swimming pool, lounge chairs, palapas, and the fabulous beach where you can swim, kayak, and snorkel. Casita Blanca's managers, Roberto and Selene, are charming and friendly Spanish- and English-speaking hosts who will assist you with your vacation needs.
You can walk into town, either along the beach or the road. Watch the fishermen come in with their catches at the end of each day, or arrange for first-class diving or snorkeling along the coral reef, just a half mile off shore. The town also has fantastic local restaurants, a well stocked & reasonably priced grocery store, an English-language bookstore, and artisan markets.
Have a massage at a local spa, or even out on the beach. Take a yoga class, or visit The Little Cooking School to learn how to prepare local specialties.
Need more action? Its an easy drive north to Cancun (about 30 minutes) or south to Playa del Carmen (about 30 minutes) for shops, people watching, and nightlife. Or, head south along the Riviera Maya to see its famed archaeological sites including Tulum, and ecological parks (e.g., Xcaret, Xel-Há).

Other Activities: Kite surfing, diving and snorkeling along the second longest reef in the world (Mesoamerican Barrier Reef) 500 meters offshore from Casita Blanca. The TPC Cancun Golf course is only 10 minutes away. Available nearby area: pre-Columbian Mayan ruins (e.g., Tulum, Chichen Itza), a reptile/crocodile zoo.
Also found throughout the area are the cenotes, fresh water swimming holes formed by collision of an ancient meteor, and the foundation of the Mayan civilization.
From June to September, Isla Holbox or Isla Mujeres (about 45 minutes North) based Turistica Moguel offers day and multi-day trips to swim with the with whale sharks. The tours start at $100 a day. The whale shark is the largest of all sharks and they appear to be single-minded in looking for Krill and plankton that make them nearly oblivious to humans.
