A spacious hilltop villa into an exclusive development with a stunning view to Dokos and Hydra Island. Decorated with exceptional taste, this elegant holiday retreat offers its guests a unique escape to peace and tranquility throughout the year. All interiors are designed and decorated to high end standards and the villa is equipped with all modern electrical appliances, as well as satellite TV and WiFi connection. An open plan kitchen is located on the ground floor alongside the living room. On the first floor each bedroom has its own bathroom, balcony and A/C, while the master bedroom has en suite office-dressing room and bathroom. The villa is surrounded by a splendid garden with a private swimming pool alongside a terracotta lounge terrace with sun loungers. The fully equipped pool house accommodates through its dining table eight persons, while its cosy lounge sitting area offers relaxation by the pool. The guests can also have fun after swimming with a late afternoon game of pool/snooker or an early dinner prepared at the stone barbeque. The extension guest house accommodates four persons with separate bathroom and small kitchenette facilities. A private gated parking for two cars is also provided; a pool person and gardener will take care of entire exterior areas to make your stay easy and comfortable. The villa is a short walk away from the sea and a secluded bay.

Great stay and location

We really enjoyed this property. The pool was fantastic, and we enjoyed the view of sea. Port Hely was fab for eating out, it was very reasonable and very close. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this property. The property was great apart for 2 things: the dishwasher did not work and the pool maintenance in the middle of the day instead of early morning was a bit of an inconvenience. However, this did not stop us enjoying our stay.

Wonderful space for a family

My family and I, 2 adults, 4 children (ages 17,15,14 & 12) have just spent an idyllic 11 days at Villa Phoenix. It is perfect for lazy days by the pool, as well as exploring the glorious area around Porto Heli and beyond. The Villa is clean and well equipped. Not everything is in perfect condition, but for me personally I don’t like staying in pristine places where you can’t relax and you’re constantly worried about breaking something! The pool area is fantastic. The pool is a good size and depth. The covered area with pool table and BBQ is where we spent many of our evenings looking out at the beautiful sea view. My older children loved staying in the pool house with their own rooms and bathroom. You have a lovely little cove just a few hundred yards from the Villa, and the stunning Kounoupi Beach about 5 minutes drive away. We went windsurfing and Scuba diving in Porto Heli, and took the short ferry journey over to Spetses for dinner one evening. All my contact with Peter was excellent, he responded to any questions I had very quickly. We wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Villa Phoenix and will recommend it to friends and family.

Great location

Amazing outdoor space in a great location. Really enjoyed lazy mornings by the pool and exploring local beaches and restaurants in the afternoons and evenings - a car is a necessity. Very quiet. Couldn’t fault it!

Objekt gut - Lage gut - Kommunikation schlecht

Das Objekt ist größtenteils wie beschrieben. Eigentlich sehr schön und groß. Die Möbel sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Lage ist schön ruhig. 2 min mit dem Auto ist eine sehr schöne, abgelegende Bucht. Wir waren fast immer ganz alleine dort. Innerhalb weniger Minuten erreicht man diverse Supermärkte. Wir hatten kein perönliches Check In. Die Schlüssel wurden für uns hinterlegt. Auch während unseres zwei wöchigen Aufenthalts, haben wir den Vermieter oder einen anderen Zuständigen nicht persönlich getroffen. Bei Ankunft durften wir das Haus (Bäder/Schlafräume/Küche/ Böden) erst einmal selber putzen. Nach 2 tägiger Anreise mit dem Auto sehr ärgerlich. Die Außenanlage war sauber. Die Bodenklappe zur Poolwasserpumpe neben dem Haus stand offen. Bei kleinen Kinder lebensgefährlich. Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter ist für uns sehr enttäuschend. Uns wurde nicht gesagt, dass 2x die Woche Leute für Pool und Garten kommen. Dann kamen nach 1 Woche zwei Damen, gingen einfach ins Haus (ohne ein Wort mit uns zu reden) und räumten hin und her, "machten sauber". Die Damen sprachen nur griechisch (die einzige Sprache die wir nicht sprechen). Wir waren froh, dass wir zu diesem Zeitpunkt anwesend waren und nicht auf einen Ausflug. Soetwas ist ein absolutes NoGo. Es können nicht einfach Personen ein und ausgehen, während das Objekt vermietet ist. Zudem sind wir mit einem Hund (Goldador 2 Jahre) angereist. Das der Vermieter dort FreiKatzen hält, hätte man erwähnen müssen.

Une semaine à Porto Heli

La villa de l’extérieur est très belle avec la vue et la piscine qui sont splendides. Localisation générale accès barbecue garage etc. au top. En revanche pour ce qui est de l‘intérieur la villa est vieillissante et mal entretenue (ex: une porte de placard de la cuisine manquait, la hotte ne marchait pas, la buanderie était un amoncellement d’objets salles), le nettoyage laisse à désirer et l’état des salles de bains est limite. Pour une semaine hors saison ce n’était pas dramatique mais par rapport au prix payé ce n’est pas correct. Idem pour la dépendance qui sert de dépôt de rangement et de chambre additionnelle… nous avons passé une très bonne semaine mais je pense que c’est important de signaler cela pour les futurs locataires qui seront peut être mois tolérants et avec des prix en saison (encore) plus élevés. A noter le manque d’explication à l’arrivée nous avons du allumer nous meme le chauffe eau alors que l’arrivée avait été communiquée a l’avance…

Beautiful property with great views and pool

The house was very nice and the outside space was superb including the amazing pool. We really can’t say anything negative about the outside of the house and the bedrooms were clean and comfortable with their own AC. The owner Peter escorted us to the property upon our arrival ( not too personable) but we were happy to be there seeing family and being in Porto Heli. Peter has a very nice and helpful person ( Angela ) who was very helpful when we needed something. We have various properties ourselves and also have stayed a many properties throughout the world and never have reviewed anyone negatively. The only sour note with our stay was was while we were attempting to connect to the Wifi the owners wife was extremely rude to us on the phone so much so my wife and daughter and her manager Angela were shocked that someone could speak to someone who has rented their place in that way and then hung up to end it, very surprising as we are Greek and speaking her language she felt compelled to give outlandish excuses to why the internet wouldn’t connect . The morning came and I rebooted their system and connected just fine. The other detail the owner never even bothered notifying us that maintenance people would be at the property (5 construction workers) would be there for one morning and afternoon fixing pool equipment. We wouldn’t have had a problem as long as we would of known . Lastly our master bathroom shower never worked . We will be back to Porto Heli as it is a beautiful place . Our holiday and stay was amazing overall.

Maison très agréable au calme avec une jolie vue

Quel agréable séjour nous avons passé !!! Nos premiers contacts avec Peter étaient très agréables et laissaient présager un bon sejour. Sur place ,nous avons été très bien accueilli par Danae qui a su être très disponible à à toutes nos demandes : conseils restaurants , sorties , attentes concernant les équipements de la maison ... La piscine est vraiment très belle et bien entretenue, le coin cuisine d été : au top et le mieux reste le billard : quelle bonne idée pour les soirées au bord de la piscine ! La proximité des plages et des magasins d alimentation est aussi très appréciable , En une phrase : nous pourrions y revenir sans hésiter ! ( seul petit désagrément la plomberie des salles de bain serait peut-être à rénover )

Superb outdoor space

Great location near the beach in a quiet area. Great pool and outdoor space where we spent most of our time when at the villa. Pool table, not our usual form of entertainment was great fun and created much competition.

Entspannte Ferien

Der Besitzer empfing persönlich und erklärte die Anlage. Er war für Fragen jederzeit offen und hatte eine zweite Ansprechperson vor Ort. Kleine Probleme wie Ausfall Internetzugang oder defekter Wasserhahn in einem der drei Badezimmer wurden binnen Stunden durch professionelle Fremdfirmen erledigt. Der Pool ist außergewöhnlich tief und der Whirlpool eine tolle Wohlfühlbereicherung. Wir waren acht Personen (4 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder) und hatten nie das Gefühl eingeengt zu sein. Im Umkreis von 100 Kilometern hatte man auch die Möglichkeit interessante antike Stätten zu besuchen (Mykene, Epidauros; usw). Wenn man sowohl für sich als Kleingruppe sein möchte aber in der Nähe auch Abwechslung sucht, können wir die Destination sehr empfehlen.

Very nice villa with great views

We are a family of two adults and two kids, 8 and 11, that stayed at the villa for 9 nights. The villa has a very nice pool and a great outdoor area with BBQ and pooltable where we spent most of our time. The house was clean and fully equipped.

A wonderful time in an excellent property

The villa was very tidy, there was nothing missing. We found even swimming goggles for diving in the pool or the little bay. Our son was delighted by having his connection back home via your WIFY. The air condition in all the rooms was very useful in the evenings, you even thought of providing each sleeping room with mosquito protection. The three bathrooms were pleasant, the three balconies always points either to relax or to gaze over the surroundings with the little bay. The kitchen was well equipped (thank you again for pre-filling the fridge), the living room was spacious with everything one could have needed in case of bad weather. Our favorite place was the pool house with its barbeque place, the big dining table and the pool billiard table. The two big fans on the ceiling were very handy, also the fridge for beverages. However, the main attraction was the luxury swimming pool, which was always tidy and kept clean. Our children were hard to be removed from there and we adults also took a plunge, dive and swim every 30 minutes. The springboard was great. The little round pool in the back was ideal for having a relaxed drink in the shade of the palm tree while watching the children splashing in the big pool. The estate was very well maintained, the housekeepers came every four days to keep the villa clean and to change the bed linen. Every day we met the gardener/pool maintainer/technician with whom we had little chats now and then. Please thank them again for their friendliness and flexibility. After all: we do recommend your estate and the whole area without any hesitation.

spacious and comfortable house

We had a great time staying at the beautiful villa in Porto Heli. We enjoyed the pool, the snooker table, the lounge area and most of all the lovely view. The two weeks we spent there were too short. The beach is walking distance away. The house is situated in a small residence with a few houses nearby. As this is the last house there is no sight of the neighbours. Porto Heli is a lovely village, beautifully situated in a sheltered bay. Plenty of restaurants with good Greek cuisine, cocktailbars and cafes. We rented a small motorboat twice and spent the day picknicking and swimming on a small deserted beach. We visited nearby Epidaurus and went to an open airconcert there. I would like to compliment Angela on the way she is taking care of the house. Whenever we had a question or something needed attention she saw to it immediately. Our stay was extremely comfortable because of her good care and the people working around the house. We also enjoyed Athens. We had been a little anxious about the atmosphere in Greece regarding the debates about the euro-crisis. We experienced no tension whatsoever. On the contrary, we have enjoyed our stay wherever we were and fully intend to visit again.

Fantastic Hilltop Villa

We loved the villa from the very first moment... Spacious, surrounded by lots of trees and a beautiful garden, a nice swimming pool with a Jacuzzi and a billiard pool. The owners were very kind to welcome us with fresh fruits, wine, milk for the kids as well as some snacks! It was more than a pleasure to meet them a couple of days upon our arrival, they were more than helpful and dealt with a small problem that occurred with the electricity immediately. The house was neat, and nice decorated. Cd & Dvd player as well as cable TV were available to keep the kids busy during our siesta! The kitchen was well equipped, and there was even a laundry room. A nice BBQ place in the garden, gave us the chance for friends' gathering on a lovely evening. We will be more than happy to go back during our next vacations!
