Bumpy process

The room itself is well appointed, although the bed was too soft for me (tastes vary). The major issue I had was that the listing did not show there was an extra cost for electricity, which was demanded as a payment outside the VRBO platform. I had a VRBO rep intervene, and the property manager's agent relented on the check-in day, but a week later they insisted once more. I had to get VRBO to intervene again, somewhat souring the experience. Regardless of the amount, this became a point of principle, as I did not want to pay something that was not specified should be paid. The property has great pools and is well maintained. Had this not be a persistent problem I would have rated the experience much better.
