Farmhouse Loft

The cozy, yet spacious, 820 sq ft loft is located above the garage in a farmhouse on a 3 acre horse property. 4 horses live on property with neighbors having cows, chickens, goats, and horses.

Stargazing at night is the best you can get while still being in the center of town. The peaceful sounds of the animals and nature will make you forget you are still in the city!

We welcome guests to request a time to meet the horses. They enjoy carrots, other treats, and being brushed. They even like posing for selfies. We kindly request you keep gates closed and locked and stay out of horse areas unless accompanied by a host for your safety and the safety of the horses.

There is not an oven/stove in the loft for city building code reasons. There is a Nuwave cooker that can be used as an oven/grill. There are also a BBQ grill and Traeger smoker available on back shared patio. Patio tables and chairs also available for outdoor dining.

A washer/dryer are not in the loft, but the homeowner’s machines in the laundry room off the loft entrance can be used on Fridays and Saturdays if requested in advance. There are also local laundromats nearby.

Bring your own horses! We have a few covered stalls, an 80’ round pen, and a 100’ x 75’ riding arena with various jumps and barrels. Bermuda and Alfalfa on hand, or bring your own feed. You can also ride your horses off property along the quiet neighborhood streets. There are also many horse riding paths along the regular city streets. Some riders even go through the local drive throughs! Please inquire with host for further details on adding your horses to your stay.

Occupant of home runs a pet grooming studio on lower level. If you have a pet with you wanting a wash or trim, appointments can be made by messaging the host.

Guests can access the entire loft as well as the small patio off the driveway. There is also a patio in the back with grill.
