Wonderful newly renovated, conveniently located 3 bedroom, 2 bath house with stone patio on New York Avenue (the main road connecting Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven).
Come with or without your car because Public Transportation to ALL TOWNS is a piece of cake! Young and old can easily hop on the local bus which runs every 20 min from 6:45A to 1:30A. The bus will pick you up and drop you off DIRECTLY IN FRONT of the house when flagged!
If you prefer to walk into town...no problem! Enjoy everything OAK BLUFFS has to offer within a 5-10 MIN WALKING distance – gorgeous harbor offers fine or family dining, great shopping, bars, beaches, parks, water-activities, auto/bike rentals, fishing charters, dancing, live music, band-stand concerts, ice-cream, liquor and grocery stores, the famous CAROUSEL, turn-of-the century ginger-bread cottages, and the Tabernacle!

Great stay

Awesome location in oak bluffs. House is great, (a little bit bigger than the pictures suggest), has a grill and nice backyard, and it’s about a fifteen minute walk to Nancy’s in OB. The bus that runs from vineyard haven to edgartown is also very convenient and runs often, picks up right outside of the house ($8 for a day pass). Mary is a great host, very accommodating and communicative, but didn’t bother us at all. Nothing negative to say here, great stay overall!

Great Location!

My family (including grandma and a couple of preteens) had a wonderful experience. Home ideally located for a walk (or bike ride) into OB or VH. Amenities were just what we needed and owner was helpful and communicative. A great time was had by all, and fit of our housing was icing on the cake.

Easy access with a great host

0.75 miles to Nancy’s and downtown OB, 1.5 mile easy walk to the Inkwell. Clean and as advertised. We are looking to extend our stay next year. Host was very responsive.

Cute house, great location

We booked this house for a girls weekend and it worked out perfectly! Mary was very responsive and accommodating. The location was great, making it easy to get to wherever we wanted to go. The house was clean, bedrooms were nice sized, and two full bathrooms was a huge plus. We had no issues with our stay and would recommend to others.

Cute House!!

The house is very cute with a nice yard and patio. The bedrooms are good-sized. Two full baths is a great feature! The host was very responsive and pleasant. The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dinnerware and spices. My family loved it!

Great family vacation!

This property is lovely. It Is equipped with all the things necessary for a convenient stay: Linen, towels and kitchen supplies. It’s literally just minutes away from all the places you want to be, yet private enough to feel like your own oasis. The backyard is perfect for dinner alfresco with a little jazz and a glass of wine. it was just right for our family of four and our first trip to the Vineyard. We look forward to a return visit.

Disappointing Stay

The property was extremely dirty, with rings around the toilets, an open hot dog package in the refrigerator (and old, open condiments) and cabinets stuffed with open spice packages, etc. We did not receive any check-in information until 5:11 p.m. on the day of check-in; 2 hours past the stated check in time. There was no working Wi-Fi (we brought our nanny on the trip because we had work obligations that depended on Wi-Fi), and the coffee maker did not work. The washing machine did not work either, and we depended on its use because of the age of our children (ages 3 and 4). The property advertised that it was walking distance to town, but it was not a safe walk into town for kids (1.5 mile walk to town along a busy road with no sidewalk). Also, the neighbor came over and asked us to turn lights off at night because they shine into his bedroom window. Not worth the hefty price tag for 4 nights!

Pleasing vacation

Mary is the property owner she was very pleasant and easy to work with, down to earth nice. The house was well maintained, very clean. The beds (2 twins on lower level and 2 queen upstairs) were comfortable and the air conditioners worked very well. The house is on a Main Street but the noise level was low. The location was very convenient to transportation. I would highly recommend this location and the property. The only Con I have is the upstairs televisions is not on demand capable.

Fantastic Property and Property Location!

This property was exactly as advertised, and more. We truly could not have had a better time in Martha's Vineyard, and this property rental was the main reason our stay and enjoyment was amazing. The property owner Mary treated us like family and we cannot thank her enough for her flexibility, courteousness, friendliness, and superb customer service. We try to vacation quite a bit, and Mary made this vacation feel better than we have at all-inclusive resorts. The house was exceptionally clean, was very well maintained, and it has a great backyard for grilling outside and leisure. The Bedrooms and Bathrooms were spacious, and the open Living/Kitchen/Dining Area was great for family to congregate and spend quality time with one-another. Circuit Ave and Downtown Oak Bluffs was a walk-away, however this property is extremely convenient to the Bus System which passes directly by this home at least every 20 minutes, and you can get dropped back off just as easy. I very highly recommend this Rental Property, and rest assured you are in great hands with Mary as your Landlord/Property Owner, as she truly cares that you are having a great time and that the property is meeting all of your expectations.

Perfect Home for Your Vineyard Stay!

My family and I just spent a week on the Vineyard and stayed in this lovely home. The house is conveniently located in between Oak Bluffs and Vineyard Haven. The house is great. It’s clean, comfortable and has everything you’ll need for your stay on the island. Mary, the owner, is wonderful. She is committed to making sure the guests are happy. Highly recommend this rental!

Perfect comfortable cottage

This lovely cottage was perfect for our family of five. It was exactly as the pictures displayed. The cottage is just 10 min walk to downtown Oak Bluff and the MV buses stop just a house away from the cottage. Mary the owner was easy to contact and was always available to help us with our question. The house has a small but comfortable back yard which we enjoyed in the afternoons. The kitchen was fully equipped and the rooms where comfortable. All the rooms and the main living and kitchen area had AC which was a plus since it was very hot during the day. It was a perfect cottage for our vacation. Will definitely be back.

Annual Trip

Very much enjoyed our stay with a group of 6. Plenty of space sleeping & for socializing. House has everything you need including linens which is a plus for MV rentals. Great location, walkable to town but also easy to hop on the public bus if you do not bring a car. Mary was very communicative and accommodating! Easy check in and out. Highly recommended!

Better then I imagined!

This was the best place I have stayed in a while, and I mean, I travel a lot.The house was as clean and beautiful as stated. Clean, airy, bright, and convenient. The amenities are modern, and not to mention, stocked with kitchen basics and condiments! We really enjoyed our stay here and will surely be back when we visit MVY!

Beautiful and comfortable

The house was convienient to town and very comfortable and clean. The house was open and spacious, and well decorated. We enjoyed the outdoor space including the patio with table, chairs, and lounge chairs and the yard which was perfect for yard games. We had a wonderful vacation at this perfect home.
