I was born in NY but lived a lot of my life outside of it all along the east coast. I spent majority of my time growing up in New England where I fell in love with the cape. I have always wanted to have a bed/breakfast type of location to host individuals seeking a getaway or memorable vacation. Once I found this beautiful home, it reminded me of Cape Cod but in my home of Long Island, NY. I love meeting new people and expanding experiences through interpersonal connection. Being a host seemed like the best marriage between all of these interests.
Why they chose this property
Greenport is an amazing little hamlet here on Long Island. It's a hidden gem on the North Fork of LI where families, couples, friends can all visit and enjoy the beaches, vineyards, restaurants, shops and art galleries. I fell in love with this town 15yrs ago and have vacationed here many times a year ever since my first visit. I have always wanted to be part of this community and support locals by bringing in business to this adorable fisherman town.
What makes this property unique
My property is unique for a few reasons. The individuals who renovated this beauty were special to the community of Greenport and we wish to carry their memory forward. Secondly, this special house, since its restoration has really had an incredible breath of life resurrected throughout its structure, walls to windows and everything in between. It's an 19th century home with 21st century amenities and comforts. The decor is sleek and cozy marrying warmth and charm in each room.
