About this property

Bring the whole family to this great place with lots of room for relaxing. Spacious rooms and a labyrinth right off your deck to enjoy while sipping your morning tea or coffee. 1.5 miles off the Blue Ridge Parkway, 3.5 miles from Floyd's Festival Park, and 18 mins to Floyd Va. To pet owners - one or two small to medium sized dog are welcome and we can provide a crate for your pet if you wish. Back deck is fenced in too. You are also welcome to pet or feed our goats that are down the hill.

Great Cottage

We only stayed here for a night traveling through but it had everything we needed and was decorated in such a fun boho zen manner. We really enjoyed the record player!

Perfectly perfect

The cottage was all it said it would be plus more. We loved all the decor and the location, very private and quiet. We had myself, my husband, my sister and two teens, plus two dogs and it was plenty of space. The house was very clean and had everything you could need. The beds were absolutely amazing and loved the balcony on the master suite. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.

A slice of peace

This cottage is everything it’s described to be! Remote, quiet , very clean and a slice of heaven in the countryside. I felt like I was in the movie The Holiday. Grounds were beautifully kept and we enjoyed walking, meeting the family of goats and watching the stars at night. Highly recommend this property if you’re looking for somewhere remote to disconnect!

Great Escape

The house was perfect for our needs. Very clean and tidy. Well equipped and everything we needed. It was quiet and restful. The bed and pillows were spot on. Good wifi and entertainment options. It felt like a perfect hideaway and close to the weekend cycling event we were there for and well needed peace and quiet. Keep doing what you are doing.

Serene and Friendly

It was everything needed for a quiet serene stay. It was easy to access the Blue Ridge Parkway and great hikes. The goats were adorable our dog liked them as well. The cottage was clean and slept so well! All the little touches just added to the atmosphere. The setup was very family friendly, we loved the record player! Easy check in and most definitely easiest check out I ever had! We were there to watch my son run at Roanoke College and it was a short trip down the mountain. We saw a rainbow on our way down. This would be a place we would stay again. The town of Floyd all the people were friendly. Thank you for having us.
