About this property

This Lakehome is located at the Lakehomes at Superior Shores, a property adjacent but not affiliated with Superior Shores Resort, and offers wonderful views of Flood Bay. You are just steps away from water with natural rock beaches and ledges. Onsite amenities include a pool and hot tub (seasonal), walking trails, and a tennis / basketball court. This unit comes fully stocked and ready for your visit. As shown in the floor plan pictures, this Lakehome is a multi-leveled front back split floor plan and is not handicap accessible. The unit offers four sleeping areas, an entry level bedroom (queen bed), and upper level bedroom (queen bed), a spectacular loft bedroom that is open to the main level (king bed), and a private office/den (full & twin bed futons). The unit contains two bathrooms including the entry level (full tub/shower) and the upper level (shower only). There is stackable washer/dryer. A natural gas fireplace keeps the place cozy in the winter and air conditioning is available on hot summer days. The spacious deck includes a propane grill and a patio table with seating for five.

Exciting News!: The unit has undergone a significant upgrade including carpet, decorations, and a kitchen refresh (new backsplash, keurig, kitchen essentials, and under cabinet lighting). The great room has new leather furniture and a live edge solid walnut dining table. The unit has hi-speed Wi-Fi, Roku streaming televisions with guest mode, and a home theater with a 75" screen, surround sound, and a Nintendo WiiU in the basement. We are also officially registered, licensed, and have been inspected by Lake County and have an up-to-date lodging license (#1577).

Great weekend at the lake

The deck and the view of the lake was amazing. The furniture was comfortable and the interiors were all clean and well take care of. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and there was plenty of space for three couples to hang out together. Justin was quick to respond to messages. We hope to come back again next year.

We loved this spot. The beach was close, the view was amazing. The unit was very clean and outfitted with everything we could possibly need. Plenty of room for our family of 7 to spread out. Everyone loved it!

Perfect!!

5 ladies…lots of laughs…no worries. We all had our own rooms, cooked all of our meals, had places to go to walk along beach and be alone. The property was very clean and well taken care of. Justin returned emails almost immediately!! Great time was had by all!! We will be back😁

Exceptional Property!

We had an incredible stay here! Gorgeous views, well stocked kitchen, clean and great communication from the owner. Everyone loved how spacious it was and they had their own “space”. The media room in the basement was fun for the teens in the evening to play games while the adults enjoyed sitting on the deck, grilling and enjoying the view! We will definitely be back! Serene and comfortable

Whether it was the sound of the waves crashing, or waking each morning to the views, this place was filled with serenity. The accommodations were comfortable and well-maintained. The property had lots of areas to explore and relax. My daughter especially enjoyed the pool. Proximity to places like Gooseberry Falls and Split Rock Lighthouse was another plus. Definitely a place we would come back to again!

Family Vacation

We had a group of 7. There was plenty of room for us all. Futons not the most comfortable for sleeping on but we made due with an air matress we brought with. There was an air mattress in a closet but we didn't see it until one of last days there. Several of our group enjoyed time in the pool. A couple brought up kayaks and enjoyed some time on the lake. Very convenient to Two Harbors, Gooseberry, etc. We also did a day trip to Grand Marais. Nice view of the lake. Good family time. Would definitely stay again in the future.

Wonderful place, great location

Great view and location

This place is clean and spacious. Awesome view of the lake! It has nice amenities like the pool and access to the beach(rock) lake. The location is close to downtown area, too. My family had a great time! Thank you for having us!

Beautiful, clean, multilevel townhouse with great views of Lake Superior

Excellent space for family bonding. Not handicap accessible for persons with mobility issues. Suggestions: bath mat for tub/shower in 1st bathroom, nightlight for bathrooms, written information on how to use appliances and who to call if there are maintenance issues; better tools for cleaning outside grill. Our young adult children loved the location & outside amenities.

A Multifamily Superior Vacation

A spacious home with an optimal layout that afforded multiple sleeping spaces for a two family hangout while we took in all Two Harbors had to offer. We spent our days enjoying the outdoor spaces and restaurants from Duluth to Grand Marais and spent our evenings enjoying the house and all it had to offer. Our families loved the pool and tennis court located just in front of the house and the views of Lake Superior from the deck while grilling steaks couldn’t be beat. The open family room/kitchen/dining area made a nice place to gather in the evening while we chatted, watched movies, played board games, and put puzzles together. The kids loved the basement playroom and had more than their fill of video games. Altogether, everyone had a blast and loved the house and its amenities. We definitely plan to come back!

Beautiful and spacious unit. I needed to put together an easel I had brought and needed a phillips screwdriver. There was one available for me to use. We loved the beautiful view of Lake Superior.

Relaxing Vacation

The house was clean, roomy, and inviting! The views from the living room and deck were amazing. The kids loved the pool and being so close to outdoor adventure. The property manager was great to work with. Highly recommend.

Best North Shore has to offer!

We just stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights and the space was perfect! We had 3 Grandmas, 2 adult daughters and ended up with 2 children (12 years old). We all had space to move around, be comfortable and sleep. The location couldn’t have been better as we took in Split Rock Lighthouse and Gooseberry one day and then Duluth, Canal Park and Bowling another day. Then we stayed in Two harbors and hit up the gift shops in town and the heated pool at the lake house for the afternoon. The lake house had everything we needed and the host was very responsive leading up to the trip and during if we had any questions. Don’t miss out on this property if it’s available!!

Amazing Trip to Lake Superior

My recent stay here was amazing. The place was charming, clean, and well-equipped, with a cozy fireplace and a fully stocked kitchen. The private deck offered breathtaking views of Lake Superior, perfect for morning coffee. The location was ideal for outdoor activities like hiking, exploring waterfalls, and enjoying the serene lakeshore. Our host, Justin, was welcoming and provided great local tips, making our stay even more enjoyable. There are plenty of local restaurants and breweries to enjoy. Overall, it was a peaceful, relaxing and beautiful trip, perfect for reconnecting with nature. Highly recommended! We will be back!!

Beautiful property with great views!

A beautiful property overlooking Lake Superior! The Lakehome was clean, cozy, and peaceful. The rock beach behind the property provided a breathtaking view of the lake. We appreciated all basic necessities being supplied (towels, soap, shampoo, etc). Great location as well - perfect distance to drive to the many sites the area has to offer. Highly recommend!

A Superior Experience

You walk in & shortly notice a beautiful view of Lake Superior. The bedroom spaces are comfortable with clean & well functioning bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked, a nice deck area, high speed WiFi, and ample parking. Bring your streaming service codes along as each room is set up with a screen to watch what you want. Though in daylight you’ll find yourself looking out the many windows to enjoy the panorama. It’s a great spot to set out from for explorations of the north shore. The host is very attentive. Enjoy!

Outstanding Waterfront Home and Experience

Our family of 5 stayed at this well furnished lake home with updates for a weekend. There is ample space for many sizes of groups, with a full size and well stocked kitchen, high ceilings with a skylight, several large windows that open up to a great view of Lake Superior, along with being feet away from a pebble beach along a bay. There's a home theater on the lower level that has been renovated with a large TV with Roku system. Communication is detailed and thoughtful - and the reservation system is straightforward. There is a large patio with an outstanding view, as well as parking that is close so that you don't need to walk far with your luggage or groceries. Our family highly recommends this lake front home!

Long Weekend Friends and Family get away in March.

We loved our stay at this beautiful lake home. The views of the lake and rock beach are exceptional. The communication was awesome and checking in was a breeze with a detailed welcome email in advance. The property itself was clean and has a well stocked kitchen, and plenty of areas for adults and kids to hang out. The home was up to date, with comfortable beds, and we loved the multiple TVs with Roku boxes. The location is great, many good restaurants close by, and the best skiing in the midwest (Lutsen) a short drive north. We can't to come back!

Great time on the North Shore

Had a wonderful time at the shore and visiting Two Harbors. Highly recommend this property, from booking to completion the process was easy and efficient. Agate hunters were out in force on the rock beach near the unit. Property has obviously been recently updated including new carpet and a really neat basement with a home theater system.

While growing up in the Midwest we always enjoyed visiting superior shores. Over the years we have purchased several fractional shares and now recently obtained full ownership of this unit. We are delighted to able to host you at our favorite place in the world.

Why they chose this property

My family has been visiting this resort since I was a child (35+ years). We have many fond memories of spending time at the North Shore, we are very excited to be able to share our wonderful home with you.

This unit has a wonderful view of Flood Bay on lake superior, a large deck, a lower level media room, and plenty of space for you to spread out and enjoy. Close proximity to the pool and hottub and all the resort has to offer.
