Boho & Rustic Getaway ~ King Bed ~ Close to Madison!

Welcome to our one-of-a-kind boho and rustic getaway with a rich history nestled in McFarland on an inlet that connects to Yahara River and Lake Kegonsa. This unique home is situated next to a charming campground and marina in nature. Enjoy fishing off the pier in summer! Lake Kegonsa State Park Trail is nearby for walking or snowshoeing. Just a 20 minute drive to downtown Madison! NO PARTIES. You will be asked to leave if there is any party activity seen. Must be at least 25 years old to book.

My home is in a rural residential area of McFarland. My home has one king bed. There is also sleeping space on the pull out couch in the living room.

*Please note the bathroom is connected to the bedroom. To access the bathroom guests will have to walk through the bedroom.*

There is a large Roku TV (no cable TV-wifi only) in the living room and bedroom. I also have a kitchenette equipped with all the essentials including coffee and tea. Home has central air.

Smoking is NOT allowed.

Only two vehicles are allowed.

Guests have access to entire house, except for back storage area. You may fish on the piers behind the house in the summer months. Do not walk on piers past where the RV trailers begin. Do not walk on campground or campsites as it is private property and I don't own it. The owners will ask you to leave if you're on their property. Ice fishing is not allowed on the inlet. Guests are not allowed to walk on piers in winter months. If you would like to ice skate on the inlet please let me know prior so I can get you a waiver to do so. Do not walk on ice without filling out waiver first. Please do not throw rocks on ice as I make a skating rink.

A dog is NOT allowed without approval prior to booking. If you are interested in bringing your dog please let us know so we can discuss compatibility and options. Only a housebroken dog is allowed (sorry if your dog requires puppy pads or equivalent they are not allowed). Our insurance policy requires us to prohibit the following breeds: Akita, American Staffordshire Terrier (pitbull), Chow, Presa Canario, Rottweiler, Sharpei, Wolf Hybrid Mix, or mixed primarily with a listed breed). Dog must be less than 50lbs. A dog that barks excessively is not allowed as there are others on the property. Dog must be on a leash while on the property at all times. Dog waste must be picked up immediately and thrown away in dumpster. Dog is not allowed on any furniture (bed, sofa, etc.) We ask that you keep your dog crated if leaving them unattended while you're away.

Boats and boat trailers are not allowed. Other water equipment (kayak, canoe, etc.) must be approved prior.

Additional guests not on reservation must be approved by management prior.

Trailers are not allowed on property without specific permission.

This house is very strict on loud parties. Quiet hours are from 10pm-8am. Other people live on the property and there are neighbors so please keep voices low and music at a respectful volume.

Copy of government issued ID for each guest may be required to book.
