Our party of 5 adults had a 3 nights stay at the Eagle Nest at High Timber. Overall, the townhome was clean. This property has 3 stories with a garage on the first floor. There is also a bedroom with a bunk bed on the first floor. We did not sleep in that bedroom as it was very dark. The rest of the 2 bedrooms and a den are on the second floor. Perhaps it was the location of the townhome, the second floor bedrooms do not seem to get a lot of daylights. The kitchen, dining and living rooms are located on the third/top floor. The top floor has a very spacious kitchen and beautiful view overlooking the ski trails at Breckenridge. If you have problems walking up and down the stairs at a high altitude, this maybe an issue. I must admit it was a bit tough for us with the stairs as indicated in other reviews. On our second night, there was a malfunction with the carbon monoxide detector on the second floor outside the bedrooms. It was beeping every minute. I texted the property manager and she responded promptly. We were told to unplug the detector for that evening and were promised it would be fixed the next day. No one came the next day to replace the carbon monoxide detector. This could be a health hazard for the guests. Since we were leaving the day after, we did not bother to make a big deal. It has a few of us worried without the carbon monoxide detector working properly. This is something the property manager should pay attention to.
