Fully furnished, fully stocked, 2 bedroom 1.5 bath with cherry furniture, free WI FI, 55" flat screen smart TV, DVD player, Netflix, eat in kitchen, new stove, new refrigerator, new dishwasher, new microwave, new Speed Queen washer/dryer, sets of dishes, cookware and utensils. There are new safety grab bars in the bathtub/shower. There are fresh and clean linens, extra towels, extra blankets, extra pillows, new lighting and new window treatments. We have books, magazines, board games and puzzles for all ages. There is a craft box for kids to create fun stuff with their imagination. Dedicated off street parking. Level-in no stairs. Walk or bicycle to The University of California. Shop at the local Monterey Market, Magnani Meats, Monterey Fish, Cheese Store, Fresh Bakery and local Roma Cafe. Enjoy eating out in the Gourmet Ghetto or on 4th Street with many restaurants and shops to choose from. Central location with easy access to San Francisco and The Bay Area. Our neighbors are friendly and the area is residential with three parks within a short walking distance. There is a bicycle / jogging path next to the property which winds for miles thru beautiful neighborhoods. We welcome our guests from all over the world and enjoy helping them and their families. Great place for a car free trip

The place was very good for what we wanted. We liked being so close to the BART and walking distance to shops and restaurants on San Pablo and Shattuck. There was some construction noise due to the adjacent bike trail expansion, but not before 7 am, and not every day. We appreciated the excellent food and travel tips from our neighbor Mike as well.

Comfy place, terrific location, caring owners.

Very comfortable, warm in winter. Great beds, actually 2full baths. Very well equipped kitchen, laundry room and linens. Provided so many thoughtful things; paper products, soaps, cooking oils, spices. Sharp knives, good selection of pots. An incredible collection of books on history and interest of area. Thorough notebook guide. Terrific location for shopping including the most amazing indoor 7 day farmers market. Really really next to bike paths and BART. A couple of steps down to second bedroom. Owner very available, helpful and accommodating. A couple things not available as described : garage, backyard, only one outdoor chair on tiny “patio.” Was a good long term (3 months) stay.

A very pleasant stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The hosts and neighbors were very friendly and great communicators. They gave us lots of tips on activities and fun foodie restaurants. It was a well equipped place and very conveniently situated. Thanks!

Best ever.

The host was so nice, and the home was the best equipped home I've ever stayed in. The neighbors were so kind, the neighborhood was great and very close to the amazing Monterey Market, along with other markets. The host had thought of absolutely everything we needed for our stay. I would love to have exactly what he had in our home no more, I know that. It was perfect. It was a beautifully appointed home that was very cozy and comfortable. The beds were great, the bedding was great, the towels were great, everything was sparkling clean. Highly recommend.

Super Host

We spent a wonderful week in Scott’s lovely home. Check-in was a breeze. Scott was there and explained everything about the house. He left a gift basket for us containing wine, fruit, and coffee. The kitchen is well stocked with supplies. Newer appliances are beautiful. Very quiet neighborhood with easy accces to the BART. We would definitely stay here again! Scott is definitely a “Super Host.”

This North Berkeley location is convenient for all our shopping, entertainment and travel needs. In every direction there is one great treat after another. We enjoy going to the fresh bakery, farmers markets, restaurants, music and plays all within a short distance. We are within walking distance to The University of California Berkeley.

Being across from BART you can travel the Bay Area without a car. We are next to a bicycle / walking path. There are three children's play grounds within walking distance.
