In this spacious and elegantly designed first-floor beach front apartment, you can idle away the sunny days, stretching out on the terrace overlooking the Mediterranean, or by the pools.. It is situated in a tranquil area yet bars, restaurants, excellent golf courses and the main centres of Estepona, Marbella and Gibraltar are only a short drive away.
Parents will enjoy the peace of the La Perla de la Bahia complex, one of the most acclaimed on the coast. It is known for its Moorish-influenced architecture and carefully tended gardens with their palm trees and colourful flower beds. Two beach cafes are within easy walking distance. Children will love the toddlers' pool, open all summer, and the direct access to the uncrowded beach. A new playground ideal for the under 8's is a 3-minute drive or 15-minute walk away, and the excellent Playa Chica beach is just beyond the headland. The first-floor apartment is tastefully furnished to the highest standards, with an extra-wide super king-size bed in the master bedroom. A super-fast fibre-optic broadband system has now been installed, which also gives access to hundreds of TV channels in a variety of languages, including the main UK terrestrial channels, eg BBC1, BBC2, ITV and C4 as well as many Spanish, French, German, Dutch, Irish and Scandinavian channels.
The price of the apartment is in Euros so the £sterling price quoted may vary very slightly according to exchange rate fluctuations.

Other activities: Welcome to the Costa del Golf! This is a golfer's paradise and the apartment is only a 5-minute drive from the famous Finca Cortesin course, which hosted the 2023 Solheim Cup. Valderrama, claimed to be the best course in Spain, is around 20 minutes away. There are numerous other courses along the coast for you to try.
The Sierra de las Nieves national park is 30 minutes drive where you can enjoy 4x4 jeep safaris, quad-biking fishing, shooting, mountain-biking, hill-walking and equestrian sports. Horse-racing is held weekly in high-season in La Cala de Mijas, and at Sotogrande visitors are welcome to watch the polo matches being played with immense skill most afternoons at 5 pm. Further east in Fuengirola there is an excellent aqua-park, aquarium, dolphin trips and shopping facilities. The Selwo safari park in Estepona is only a short drive away and is worth a visit for all the family. Marbella and Puerto Banus are the places to go to enjoy a late night out, with fantastic bars, restaurants and clubs, or, even just for a shopping expedition to the large department stores.

Great Sightseeing Trips: Casares, Guacin and the famous Andalusian white villages are a short drive inland. In the winter you can even enjoy a day's ski-ing on the Sierra Nevada near Granada, a three hour drive away.
Closer at hand, the excellent Sal beach restaurant (open from Easter-September) is a 10-minute walk away, the other side of the headland beyond the Moorish tower. The stylish La Perla beach cafe is even closer, and is open for most of the year. Puerto Banus is the place to people-watch at the marina, with plenty of designer boutiques, bars and restaurants. The old town of Malaga is worth a visit with its stylish shopping and Pablo Picasso museum.. Go to see the Barbary Apes or try some duty-free shopping in Gibraltar one day, or take a day trip to Tangiers in Morocco. Don't forget to visit Tarifa too for the spectacular sand-dunes, massive breakers and surfboarding.

Very nice pool, spacious, great location
The apartment is very roomy and nice and we loved the pool. The Med was too cold to swim in when we were there, but once it warms up for the summer it must be so nice to just walk right out to the beach. The apartment was in the perfect location for day trips to Ronda, Tangier, Gibraltar, Cordoba, and Granada...but quieter and not as crowded as Marbella or Malaga.

Highly recommend
Stayed 29th July with 5 adults (incl 3x18yr olds). Fantastic apartment, great location with amazing views and pool. Everyone was really friendly and there are some really good restaurants within a short walking distance. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful getaway but with easy access to all of the Costa’s amenities for good trips out

The Pearl of Costa Del Sol !
This is our second Time in this wonderful apartment in La Perla de la Bahia and it is always the same perfect, peaceful place with a jaw dropping view! And even after a few years, the property is not aging one bit as the maintenance is daily and top notch! The apartment itself is very lovely, comfy and spacious for 6 people, has all the amenities and one cannot get enough of having diners on the terrace (breakfast and lunch 😊)! Everything is nearby but would recommend renting a car. Last and certainly not least, our stay was perfect thanks to an awesome professional on premise servicing from the property manager (Jane) and a very kind and helpful owner that always helped us remotely whenever we needed him

Wonderful Condo
Tom and Anne’s beach condo is the perfect place for a relaxing vacation. It’s in a great location and is perfectly appointed for a comfortable stay. My husband and I traveled with our adult children and all of us had a great time. Both the ocean and a pool are right outside the door, and there are fabulous seafood restaurants close by. I highly recommend staying here.

Good location and the pool is excellent (which is the most important thing for our kids). Life-guard in the summer and friendly people in the development. Apartment is spacious, well organised and has everything you need for a holiday stay.

Wow! What a fabulous apartment!
A truly fantastic holiday. The apartment was exceptional - immaculately clean, luxurious and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. The panoramic balcony gave us the most beautiful sea views and stunning sunsets. Plenty of excellent restaurants nearby or very well stocked supermarkets if you prefer to self cater. The children adored the extensive pool - perfect temperature for swimming and set in delightful gardens. Tom was very responsive and helpful in all correspondence prior to our arrival. We would return in a heartbeat! Thank you.

Amazing apartment near Estepona !
We spent two wonderful weeks in July '16 in this amazing apartment in Estepona! it is the perfect place to stay for a family vacation. The apartment itself is great with stunning views in a large terrace in front of the sea! you have absolutely nothing between the apartment and the beach except: a beautiful residence garden with kids and adults pool (very quiet and secure for kids) and the beach right past it! there is a enjoyable walking path between the residence and the beach for great walks. The residence Perla de la Bahia is also very charming and lovely with well maintained gardens, the apartment has an underground secure garage with an elevator which made it very easy for grocery shopping and luggages. The residence is also next to a very hip and trendy private beach with sofa beds, luxurious bar and pool. The apartment as mentioned has perfect terrace (with sitting corner, lunch table), all possible equipment even fiber optic internet! very comfy, with books and DVDs. Kitchen is very well equiped (with even had a high chair for our baby boy). The location is near everything, a car though is recommended to fully enjoy costa del sol. Finally the owners are lovely people and very thoughtful, they assisted us, even from a distance by mail or tel, whenever we needed something. We definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and perfect vacation in costa del sol!

Great apt with cleaner who doesn't like to clean
All the other reviews about the standard of the property were spot on so no need to repeat why has already been said Only issue we had was the safe not working in the apartment and the fridge every no and then not working . The lid of the kitchen bin was broken . All of the above was liveable so we did not contact anyone to request it to be sorted We were leaving Malaga at 9pm on the Saturday night and enquired if we could stay a bit longer in the apartment . Unfortunately due the fact that they new clients were coming in that day our request was declined . A 10.30am is too early IMO to ask guests to leave . We stayed around the complex till 6pm . Nobody had arrived by them . Surely a midday departure should have been accommodated . A 10.15 the cleaners arrived . 15 minutes earlier than expected and when I asked the lady to come back at 10.30 ,she requested to start changing the beds was requested by her . When i said no to her , she was not impressed. When we returned from our holiday we were advised by the owner that there would be a surcharge due to the cleaner having found the apartment in a poor condition . When we enquired what the problem was , she informed the owner that there was fingerprints on every window in the apartment , finger prints on the tv , water bottles under the beds , food in the baby's high chair. We tend to go on holiday . Didn't know that we needed to bring our windoline and start cleaning windows before we left . That's why you have a cleaner to come in to clean the apartment . She also complained about a black bag that we left in the apartment . The same one that i offered to take out and she said that she would do so . I am not sure the cleaner advised the landlord that she didn't need tidy one of the bedrooms in the apartment because it was unoccupied for the two weeks . So this game her plenty of time to wipe down a few Wi

Absolutely superb, an amazing apartment
We were so very impressed by the beautiful apartment, from the fabulous views of the ocean to the relaxing pool enclosed by meticulously manicured gardens. The whole complex was superbly maintained. The apartment was a home from home and wonderfully equipped. I can honestly say it was one of the most relaxing holidays Ive had in quite a long time. The boardwalk that runs along the beach is so inviting and for those who enjoy a little more exercise they have free equipment at intervals along the way. I hired a bike from the next village and every morning cycled the route to explore the area. Quite simple stunning. I wholeheartedly recommend the apartment.

Nice stay at Casares Costa (Sp)
A very nice 3 bedroom apartment with huge balcony (nearly 50m2) with sea view. The apartment is situated at the second floor and easy accessible with an elevator. From the balcony you have nice view to the fantastic gardens wit swimming pools, one for adults and one for children. Estepona (north) is just 10 min drive, Gibraltar (south) is appr. 40km. Along the beach is a nice and well accessible, 4,5km walking pad (with lots of gym attributes) up to Puerto Deportivo De La Duquesa, here you can find lots of nice restaurants around the harbour. We had a very nice 10 day stay at June with nice weather. For our 2 year old daughter a cod and high chair were available for free.

Fantastic apartment and position.
Wow, what a brilliant apartment, clean, bright and cheerful. It lives up to everything we expected. This was our first visit to this area and we loved it, high twenties and full sun did help. It is well appointed and misses nothing. Very helpful manual on places and restaurants in the area, cannot recommend highly enough. The terrace is wonderful in the morning as it gets full sun and is great for breakfast and lounging. Enjoy while you can !

Paradise
La Perla is a beautiful apartment with a stunning view of the ocean. The apartment is full of everything you could possibly need as well as being pristine and very well maintained. My family and I loved making the most of the gardens and pools which were also meticulous. There were nearby resturants offering fresh fish within walking distance and a lot more choice just a few minutes drive away. We had a wonderful holiday and would wholeheartedly recommend La Perla to anyone considering it.

Great week with the family in the sun!
We had a lovely week relaxing in the sun by the two swimming pools at La Perla de la Bahia. There is a children's pool which was great for our four year-old son to splash around in and a much larger 'adults' swimming pool. The gardens surrounding the apartment are beautiful and the complex is very secure. The apartment itself is much larger than we expected. It has three double bedrooms and two good sized bathrooms. It also has a separate kitchen with a dishwasher and a utility room with a washing machine and dryer. Another plus is it right next door to the Finca Cortesin beach club which is a great spot for lunch.

very comfortable...
We had a wonderful stay at this place and were grateful for the opportunity. The place is very comfortable and very complete. Our kids had a very good time. We have been very lucky with the weather with at least 25 degrees for two full weeks, perhaps three mornings with a bit of cloudy weather. As it was very quiet in October, we had the swimming pools almost privately to ourselves. The one with a depth of 40 cm was ideal for our young kids. The garden and moorish style building really did it for us.. The place was ideally located close to Estepona where there is zoo and a nice stretchy boulevard with a very large playground... Playground also found in Sabinillas and another zoo in Fuengirola (bit further..). Gibraltar was worth a visit and only 40 mins. away... We are considering doing this again….

Excellent accommodation
This was our fist visit to Southern Spain for 10 years. We are in our 60's (the new 50's!) and wanted nice accommodation with a sea views in an area that was not built up but had interesting places to visit within easy reach. This place had pretty much everything. There were only 2 of us but this 3 bedroomed flat was within budget and was excellent. We stayed 9 nights and the flat had all we needed, including towels. There was no housekeeping, which suits us. I think you can arrange it if wanted. The grounds are top notch and there are 2 main swimming pools with a children's pool as well. The flat overlooks one of the main pools and the children's pool so it would be great for families. There are plenty of places to sunbathe outside and the beach is but a few steps away. Shopping in the area is well catered for and the busy little town of Estapona is but 10 mins away. We flew in to Malaga and hired our car there. A car is essential but the rental rates were good and it is just about 1 hour away. The flat is in a secure development with its own underground car park. There is a manager on site. A beach restaurant is 100 yards away and there are plenty of good eateries within a short drive. We visited Seville during our stay (and stayed overnight), which took 2.5 hours on very quiet toll roads. It is a city well worth seeing. The view from the flat is direct to the sea. Get up early to see the sunrise and at night listen to the lapping of the waves on the beach. The patio is spacious but does not get a lot of sun, something of a relief when it is hot. And if you do want to get some rays there are sun beds in the grounds, not to forget the beach. We normally visit the Algarve but we found this a welcome change and it seemed less expensive. The flat was certainly excellent value and had one of the quietest and most efficient air-con systems I have come across. Oh, I forgot to mention the TV. There was a basic Sky package so my wife could watch Corrie. 7th heaven!

"Wir verbrachten zwei herrliche Wochen in dieser praktischen, sauber, gut und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Wohnung - und täglich Traumwetter - 25 - 35 C/sonnig. Ebenfalls haben wir den geräumigen Balkon sowie den grossen Pool täglich genutzt. Diese Siedlung ist wunderbar eingebettet in einen sehr gepflegten Garten/Park - und liegt direkt am Meer (50 m). Herrliche Aussicht!! Diese "Urbanization" - wie es im Spanisch heisst, ist definitiv ein kleines Juwel im absoluten Bautengetto von Südspanien. Wirklich unglaublich war zum Teil gebaut wurde und zwar im ganz grossen Styl. Die Küste ist zum Teil scheusslichst verbaut - glücklicherweise findet man im direkten Hinterland unweit der Küste wunderschöne, typische Dörfer. Zirka 100 m hinter dem Haus verläuft eine Hauptstrasse, welche man hinten hinaus hört (in den 2 kleineren Zimmern) jedoch nicht übermässig. Der lange, kiesige Strand wurde ebenfalls praktisch täglich gereinigt obwohl es kaum Besucher hatte. Der nächste Ort ist gut zu Fuss zu erreichen dem Stand entlang - ca. 30 Minuten und bietet diverse gastronomische Möglichkeiten. Ansonsten ist ein Auto wirklich empfehlenswert, da der öffentliche Verkehr äusserst mager ist. Empfehlenswerte Ausflüge: Casares, Estepona, Tarifa, Gibraltar, Malaga, Ronda und Nerja. Wir können diese Wohnung somit wirklich bestens empfehlen."

Location, Location, Location
Does what it says on the tin.... The apartment is accurately described albeit it is not "new" any more however it is in excellent order and very well equiped. Peaceful setting, stunning views, awesome sunrise, superb, well kept gardens and pool. We were there in September'10, never more than 6 people by the pool ! Excellent eating places in the local area but a car is necessary. . Fly into Gibraltar if you can and hire a car once over the border in Spain, (saves lots of queueing to get in and out of Gib. with a car). Its very easy on foot, the Spanish border town is called La Linea and there are various hire car companies located next to each other, reserve before you go. A cut above
This was our third stay at the apartment at La Perla de la Bahia and we are already looking forward to our next visit. La Perla is definitely a 'cut above' the other developments along the coast. The apartment is spacious, stylish and well maintained, with a fabulous terrace overlooking the sea and access to a good size swimming pool and garden for the children to play in. The setting is very tranquil; I particularly like waking up to the sun rising up over the sea in the morning and watching the fishing boats at night. There are lots of scenic drives and places to eat nearby, including hilltop Casares, one of the famous White Towns.

Herrlicher Meerblick in gepflegter Anlage
Mitte Oktober hatten wir das Glück noch einmal den Sommer genießen zu dürfen mit allem was dazu gehört: Ein herrlicher Sonnenaufgang über dem Meer, Frühstücken auf der großen, gut möblierten Terasse, Ausflüge in die Umgebung bei angenehmen 25-27°C oder einfach entspannen und baden im Pool. Der große Pool wurde trotz der Nebensaison täglich gereinigt, ebenso wurde der sehr hübsch angelegte Garten täglich gepflegt. Der der Anlage vorgelagerte Strand hat uns aufgrund der Steine nicht gut gefallen. Nimmt man einen längeren Fußweg in Kauf gelangt man aber an einen schöneren Strandabschnitt, wo das Wasser allerdings sehr schnell sehr tief wird und für kleinere Kinder nicht zu empfehlen ist. Unsere Kinder fanden den Pool ohnehin viel besser, zumal wir ihn aufgrund der Nebensaison für uns allein hatten. Die Appartementanlage liegt direkt an einer großen Hauptstraße gen Süden. Da das Wohnzimmer und ein Schlafraum (Kingsizebett) und schließlich der Balkon zum Meer hin ausgerichtet sind, bekommt man allerdings kaum etwas davon mit. Die zwei Schlafräume mit den Einzelbetten hingegen sind zur Straßenseite, was empfindliche Menschen beim Schlafen bei geöffneten Fenstern eventuell stören könnte. Wie es die Bilder zeigen ist das Appartement großzügig geschnitten und nett und persönlich eingerichtet. Man kann sich hier wirklich wohlfühlen und entspannen. Die Küchenausstattung war für eine FeWo gut, der letzte große Frühjahrsputz war hier allerdings schon eine Weile her. Vor Ort hatten wir eine Engländerin als Ansprechpartnerin, die uns auch die Schlüssel übergeben hat. Probleme gab es allerdings keine, auch insgesamt nicht bei der Abwicklung mit dem Vermieter. Im Gegenteil, die Abwicklung verlief reibungslos und sehr nett und zuvorkommend über den Ärmelkanal hinweg. Auf jeden Fall sollte man vor Ort ein Auto haben. Zum einen um sich mit Lebensmitteln zu versorgen, denn fußläufig ist nichts bzw. nur eine Tankstelle zu erreichen, zum anderen um die Umgebungsziele zu erkunden. Landschaftlich ist die "Bergwelt" wunderschön, die sehr starke Bebauung entlang der Costa del Sol hat uns allerdings nicht gefallen, so dass wir trotz eines sehr schönen erholsamen Urlaubes nicht noch einmal zurück kehren werden. (Liegt aber auch daran, dass wir immer gern Neues erkunden!) In der Hauptsaison ist es wahrscheinlich voll und unruhig, für die Nebensaison können wir das Domizil für ruhesuchende Familien mit Kindern jedoch empfehlen.
