Nestled on the edge of the forest, overlooking the sparkling waters of Lake Chatuge, there’s a welcoming chalet we call “LAZY DAYZ”. Here you’ll find a private wooded setting with gently sloping lawn leading down to the water’s edge. Imagine, having the woods, distant mountains and lake frontage all in one spot! You’ll never want to leave!

This 2 level home offers a large open floor plan, allowing sunlight to flood both levels from the towering cathedral ceiling. This comfy 3 bedroom, 2 bath home offers a split floor plan with the King Sized Master Suite on the upper level and a separate loft with pull-out twin bed, overlooking the open to the ceiling great room below, with massive stone fireplace and majestic windows. The main level offers 2 ample Queen bedrooms which share the bath on that level. The fully equipped kitchen anticipates your every need with space for dining indoors or out on the deck.

We call it “Lazy Dayz” because of the relaxing atmosphere and ambiance of cozy evenings by the fire, early morning coffee out on the screened porch, watching the sun rise over the lake or being lulled to sleep by crickets and awakened by birds’ song. But if “Lazy” is not your thing, there’s lots to do to keep you (and the kids) busy. Bring your boat or jet skis (or rent either nearby) and enjoy the convenience of docking right off your backyard in your private boat slip. There’s swimming, fishing, hiking, biking, grilling outdoors or fine dining at a number of great eateries nearby. Book early for peak season and plan to make this your go-to vacation getaway!
Off Season: Aug.16th – May 14th: $200/night; Rates based on up to 4 persons, Extras: $10/person/per night, Minimum stay: 2 Nights; Holidays: 3 Night Minimum. Peak Lake Season: May15th- Aug.15th, 1 Week Minimum stay, $250/night. Damage Waiver: $55 N/R, Cleaning $125 based on 4 person stay; Tax 9.75%; No Smoking.

Could not have asked for a more perfect place

This cabin was absolutely perfect for our needs. My best friend and I go on a golf/fishing trip every fall. This year, we decided to stay on the lake and rent a boat. Worked out beautifully because they have a wonderful 2-spot boat dock on Lake Chatuge and we just docked the boat there for easy access to fish the lake. The house is beautifully stocked with everything you need. The beds are comfortable enough. The leather couch in the living room is nice to lounge in and watch some football. The cabin is also very convenient to grocery stores and restaurants, it's also within a reasonable drive of several golf courses, the casino in Murphy. Even Blue Ridge isn't but a 45 min drive away. The cabin really felt like home and we were sad to say goodbye to it. As an aside, the property managers were extremely responsive to any issues that arose during the stay. Had a little trouble with the lockbox on arrival but was remedied in just few seconds after talking with the property manager. Highly recommend this property!

Fabulous lake stay

We had the best time for my mother’s 75th birthday. Everything was cozy, clean, and perfect. Robyn and her team were a dream to work with! We will make this a tradition!
