Very roomy apartment with great views

Overall we liked this apartment quite a bit. Two very large separate bedrooms on the top floor of a small townhouse type building. Amazing views in all directions, with two balconies. Large well stocked kitchen. Beds were extremely comfortable, some of the most comfortable we've ever had in an STR. No top sheet, just a comforter in a removable sleeve (this is normal in Europe). No AC- we were advised of this and told that due to the elevation it was not needed, but it was quite warm during our stay and cooling would have been appreciated. Opening the many windows would have helped, but this is where we had an issue. Although this small village is right on the edge of Innsbruck, it is a farm oriented community, and like the many other villages nearby, livestock is housed immediately adjacent to resident's homes, and this was the case here. The aromas were powerful at times. But again, this is the norm in these villages, as we visited most of them. Also, the main stairwell in the building needs a heavy cleaning, cobwebs and dust everywhere and it had a strong mildew smell. None of these odors were evident in the apt., unless you left doors or windows open. There is a great grocery store right across the street. Bus or car to downtown Innsbruck in 5 mins. There was some confusion with mgmt. as to who we were and what unit we were in both at check-in and during our stay, but it worked out.
