About the Accommodation
The holiday apartement impresses with its bright, appealing living area with open-plan kitchen, which offers a fantastic view. In addition to a dining table and a cozy sofa corner with reading chair, the flat is characterised by its stylish furnishings. The kitchen is fully equipped, including a fondue set, raclette/crêpes set, dishwasher, Nespresso coffee machine, fridge with freezer compartment, ceramic hob, oven, steamer/steam cooker, dough maker and kettle to fulfil any culinary needs. The flat has a bedroom with a queen-size bed (160x200 cm) and a comfortable bunk bed (90x200 cm) as well as another bedroom with a dressing room, adjoining bathroom and a romantic four-poster bed (160x200 cm). The sofa in the living room can be quickly converted into another queen-size bed (140x200 cm). There are two spacious bathrooms, equipped with rain showers and a large corner bathtub, WC with shower function, hairdryer and bathroom sink. The flat is barrier-free, including the bathrooms, which offer plenty of room to move around. The 17 square meter balcony with table and lounge chairs is the perfect place to enjoy the panorama. Board games, books and a CD player provide entertainment. Wi-Fi Internet is available, and the flat ventilation can be individually controlled. A ski and storage room for bicycles is available in the basement. The flat has its own underground car park and an outdoor parking space. A private washing machine and tumble dryer are available in the cellar compartment. Pets are not allowed, and the flat is non-smoking. The net proceeds from the rental of the "Fortaleza" flat support the youth centre in Mekelle, northern Ethiopia. The Hässig couple, who themselves worked at the centre for several months and visit it regularly, are thus helping to support up to 700 young people every day, which is particularly important in view of the high unemployment and armed conflicts since November 2020.

The panorama over the mountains and the lake is impressive and unrivalled! Fortaleza, the name of a Brazilian city, means castle, fortress. Like the city of Fortaleza, our flat overlooks Lake Walensee and sometimes the (misty) sea. The exclusive 3-room holiday flat is part of a modern apartment building (Minergie construction). It is located 2 km above the village centre and is easily accessible from the car park. From the balcony, you can enjoy relaxing evenings with marvelous sunsets. The nearest ski lift is within walking distance or one bus stop further on (600 m; Sell ski lift). The family-friendly Amden-Arvenbüel skiing and hiking area is just a few minutes away by car or local bus.
