LOCATION
This Provence holiday rental home is located between Nice and Cannes, 13 kilometers from the airport of Nice. The villa rests in the 'Domaine' Vaugrenier Présidences, a guarded and secured area beyond and above the Parc National de Vaugrenier and the highway A8. From the house you enjoy a magnificent, panoramic view over the Park and the Mediterranean Sea.

FACILITIES IN THE AREA
The Domaine also comprises two tennis courts, a playing-ground for children and a nice large swimming pool, all for the exclusive use of the inhabitants of the Domaine. About 50% of the inhabitants have their permanent homes here. The distance to the closest beach is 1,5 km. Nearby you find a Marineland, Amusement Parks, Casinos and numerous other attractions. Within 10-30 minutes by car you reach 20 golf courses. The charming town of Biot is 5 minutes away.

THE HOUSE
The house is 120m2 with two floors. There is a south-facing terrace, in addition to a garage and two parking lots.

First floor contains:
- A large livingroom with an open fireplace and direct access to the terrace. There is an build-in aircondition.
- Well-equiped kitchen in Provence style
- Diningarea with open access to the kitchen and the livingroom.
- An office with a printer (and a sleeping couch)
- Laundryroom with Miele washing machine and dryer
- Guest toilet
- A hall with good closet space

Second floor contains:
- Three bedrooms where two of them have a doublebed, while the one have two seperate beds moved together. They all have aircondition which is very silent.
- Two bathrooms where one have a shower and a hottub and the other have only shower. Both contain a toilet.
- Bathroom floors with electric heating

Nice house, poor experience
The property was nice with very good views, a few things you should know before you visit: 1. You must have a car for this location, it is a 30 min walk up a very steep hill and there are very difficult to get an Uber or taxi 2. The neighbors are unfriendly and have a very large, vicious dog that was scary for us and our kids to walk by, also barks alot in the early morning and at night 3. Checkin process is difficult because the owner was not there and the guard at the gate only speaks French and is not there at certain hours 4. The owner is very picky on checkout and charges high fees, we ended up getting charged $400 for getting makeup on a towel, which easily washes out

Great for Tennis Holidays
every morning we played tennis and then took a swim in the pool (there are two tennis courts which can be booked for free easely and the public pool was never too crowded) so the breakfast has always tasted great ;) We also visited Monaco, Antibes, Nice and Cannes and went to the beach (everything easy reachable by car). The appartment was very clean and fully air conditioned, what we really appreciated. I'm really happy that we found such a great appartment for our holidays. Tom and Margaretha are really nice and easy to communicate with (owners)

Highly recommended!
Lovely villa in a great location near to Antibes, Nice and Cannes. The villa was extremely comfortable and well equipped. Communication with the owners was excellent particularly when we had an issue with the air conditioning. Pool was also lovely and quiet in the mornings although worth bearing in mind it is a 10 minute walk up and down a hill. All in all we really enjoyed it and hope to return one day.

Notre séjour dans la maison de Margaretha s’est très bien passé. La maison est spacieuse, bien équipée pour une famille avec de jeunes enfants, le jardin est grand et nous avons bien profité du tennis de la résidence. Idéalement située entre Nice et Antibes.

I am a lawyer, my office is in Oslo, Norway. My wife Margaretha is half French and speaks the language fluently. She keeps the contact with our housekeeper, the gardien of the Domaine and the various companies that help us maintain the high standard of the house. We have rented out the house part of the year since it was finished in March 2002. This activity has offered us so much pleasure in the contact with our leesses from around the world. We always try to give them a personal contact and offer them a stay that suits their needs.

Why they chose this property

We chose to build in this location because of the fantastic view and very nice location close to "everything". The Domaine is very nice, quiet and well kept. We personally love to be here, and enjoy all that this region of France offers: Nice beaches, charming villages, great markets, museums and lovely walks along the coastline and in the mountains. Important to us is that the location is ideal logistically with a minimum of traffic hinderances. So you are able to GET AROUND easily, which is not the case when you live in the seaside towns of the area.

What makes this property unique

The house is bright and lovely. The big terrace offers a great place to barbeque and enjoy the garden and enjoy the view of the ocean and the Provençal green surroundings.
