About this property

Legally Permitted and Registered Rental Property. One of the few! Permit available upon request so you don't need to fear your trip will be cancelled due to BCs new regulations.

The property is nestled in a small community of 40 homes on the amazing Vaseux Lake. Vaseux Lake offers serenity and seclusion as you gaze across to undeveloped wilderness. Whether your holidaying in the summer to soak up the sun or you are a wildlife buff, you have come to the right location. Vaseux Lake is in the middle of BCs Golden Mile of Wineries, has a reputation as an amazing wildlife sanctuary and only moments away from beaches, hiking, golfing, geocaching, biking and fishing.
This 2400 sq. ft. home is on two levels with a large 90 x 90 foot, beautifully landscaped yard. The upstairs kitchen is fully stocked with 2 new Kitcheaid appliances (Fridge and Dishwasher). New LG washer and dryer as well.
If there isn't any availability on the calendar we do accept wait list names and contact people of available dates as soon as they are available.
We have a UV LIGHT SYSTEM for water purification purposes (bacteria) as well as a Reverse Osmosis filtration system for removing unwanted (minerals such as lead). Our community well has a new UV and Chlorination system recently added as well.

b) All sleeping arrangements must be in the main house only. No camping or outside sleeping, this includes RVs, trailers etc. RVs are not allowed.

Clients must be aware of water restrictions and water shortages by limiting overuse (as much as possible).

Family Wine Tour

A beautiful large family home. Perfect quiet location for touring the wineries. The home is clean and comfortable and stocked with everything you could possibly need. Located at a bird sanctuary, we enjoyed relaxing on the deck and listening to and observing the wildlife. Would definitely recommend to friends and hope to return soon. Thank you Grant for a wonderful short vacation.

Amazing lake-front vista and beautiful home

This is our second year staying here and we've booked for year 3 already! The hosts are incredibly responsive and provide lots of information upon arrival, including helpful tour suggestions during our stay. The home's backyard faces into Vaseux Lake and it is breathtakingly beautiful waking up each morning to the incredible view. The upstairs is open, with a big kitchen/dining area, living room with fireplace, back deck and back yard for bbqing. With 3 bedrooms in the house and another cabana out back, there is room for lots of friends or families to have privacy and yet enjoy spending time together over breakfast or an evening meal. We love booking this every year and will continue to do so. Thanks very much, Grant, for making our stay amazing! Cheers../Nancy

Michelle McReavy and Grant Temple are retired teachers from Langley, BC and have traveled and lived in many locations around the world. We presently live at our Lake home or in Langley, BC.

Why they chose this property

We stumbled across this sanctuary a few years back and when a cottage came available we quickly bought it because it was such an incredibly peaceful location with fantastic views.

What makes this property unique

Quiet, calm, peaceful, scenic, relaxing and awe inspiring animal viewings. Canoeing on the lake is a treat as there is little fear of large boat wakes or challenges. Fishing is spectacular and Bass is just one species found in our lake.

Deck has electrically controlled awnings to close in the outside space and make a 3 season room.

UV light system for water purification purposes (bacteria) as well as a Reverse Osmosis filtration system for removing unwanted (minerals such as lead).
