The position favors hiking the ancient village of Orta from which with the many boats you can see the whole lake and the small island of San Giulio, with its famous ancient basilica.
Only 10 Km there is the Mottarone, 1500 meters high from which on a cloudless day you can see seven lakes. Great for a day trip in the car.
A few minutes drive there are shopping centers with each service.

Très bon séjour !

Maison très pratique et conforme à la description qui en est faite. Le vaste jardin et son barbecue sont très appréciables (gare aux moustiques dans cette région de lacs !) Tous les lits ne sont pas de même qualité, certains ont moins bien dormi que d'autres... À savoir, la maison est mitoyenne et donc partagée avec d'autres locataires (chacun a son espace et jardin privé) : cependant, on entend beaucoup le groupe qui réside à côté. Concernant l'environnement, la région est magnifique, la belle vue du jardin en est une preuve. Le centre-ville peut être rejoint en 15 minutes à pieds en descente, 30 minutes au retour avec un peu de transpiration puisque la maison est très en hauteur. Il y a un petit bar tabac restau juste au bout de la rue pour dépanner bières, boissons fraîches et piadina à emporter ! Très bon séjour entre amis dans cette maison !

Schöner Aufenthalt am Orta See

Es handelt sich hierbei um eine Doppelhaushälfte in einem wunderschönen Haus. Das beste an dem Haus ist der parkähnliche Garten. Diesen haben unsere Kinder voll genutzt (Frisbee, Fussball...) Innen ist das Haus für zwei Familien prima aufgeteilt, da das 1. und 2. Geschoss identisch sind. Das einzige kleine Manko war, dass es nicht überall sehr ordentlich geputzt war. Dafür war der Vermieter sehr nett und hat auch gleich geholfen, als wir Fragen hatten bezüglich Heizung. Die Lage ist super. Man ist schnell im Ort, der wunderschön ist. Ich kann die Unterkunft empfehlen. Wir haben es sehr genossen.

Bezaibernde Aussicht und viel Platz für die große Familie

Es handelt sich um alte, sehr geräumige Villa, die von innen und außen sehr wertig renoviert wurde. Gut gefallen haben uns insbesondere die vielen großen Fenster, der Parkettboden, die geräumigen Bäder und die gut bestückte Küche. Schön sind auch der riesige Garten und die Terrasse. Als störend empfanden wir eine Baustelle am benachbarten Bahnhof. Dort wurde zeitweilig selbst nachts und am Wochenende gearbeitet. Nicht jedermann`s Sache ist Nachbars (ungefährlicher) Hund, der auf dem Grundstück frei herumläuft und tut, was Hunde halt so tun.

Doppelhaushälfte mit grossem Garten

Wir hatten mit 4 Erwachsenen und 4 Kindern eine schöne Zeit in Orta San Giulio. Vor allem der See vermochte mit seinem klaren Wasser zu überzeugen. Bei der Ankunft haben wir erfahren, dass wir nicht die ganze Villa gemietet haben, sondern dass es sich quasi um eine Doppelhaus-Hälfte handelt: es gibt zwei gleich große Wohnungen in der Villa. Die Nachbar-Wohnung ist von einer Familie mit kleinen Kindern bewohnt, dies hat uns aber nicht gestört, da unsere Kinder ja auch manchmal etwas lauter gespielt haben. Das Haus ist an und für sich sehr schön und auch bei heißem Wetter durch die Klappläden recht kühl. Die Raumaufteilung ist für zwei Familien ideal, es hat auf beiden Etagen Zimmer und Nasszellen, somit bot das Haus genügend Privatsphäre für beide Familien. Zum Glück war das Wetter gut und wir konnten auf der gedeckten Veranda essen. Im Inneren ist der Tisch zu klein und es hat zu wenig Stühle für 8 Personen. Einfache Speisen lassen sich in der Küche gut zubereiten. Die Bäder sind sehr großzügig und modern. Jedoch war in unserem Fall die Reinigung nicht gründlich ausgeführt worden. Hinter den Türen befanden sich Staubreste und Haare auf dem Boden. Die Zimmer sind sehr nett eingerichtet und bieten jede Menge Stauraum. Leider sind die quietschenden Betten mit Metall-Sprungrahmen für uns ein absolutes No Go. Schliesslich sind Ferien zur Erholung gedacht und dazu gehören anständige Betten mit guten Matratzen. Die meisten Matratzen sind am Ende ihrer Lebenszeit oder schon darüber hinaus und müssen daher dringend ersetzt werden. Dasselbe gilt für die Betten. Solche Betten kenne ich aus Zivilschutzanlagen und gehören nicht in ein Ferienhaus dieser Preiskategorie. Daher fällt auch die Bewertung so tief aus. Das WLAN war von Beginn weg nicht sichtbar, es gab weder einen Router noch eine Anleitung mit Accountname und Passwort. Der Vermieter hat auf unsere SMS nicht reagiert. Dieser Umstand war für uns nicht so schlimm, da wir aufs Mobilnetz ausweichen konnten.
