A little slice of heaven!
We loved our 4th of July getaway at Cedar Hill! It was a perfect spot for my husband and I to get away, recharge and reconnect. We also really enjoyed Jim and Sherry, the hosts! This isn’t the spot to go to if you’re looking to party or do a larger or group stay. The three cabins on the property are really made to comfortably accommodate a few people at each cabin. We enjoyed paddle boarding and swimming off the dock, walking around the property and visiting the nearby Lost 40 Acres and the Chippewa National Forest. We enjoyed some delicious ice cream at the Black Bear Drive-in in Northome and felt like we had the perfect balance of down time and excursions. We are already talking about our next visit to Cedae Hill. Thanks so much Jim and Sherry for sharing your little slice of heaven with us!

Cabin in Northome
We stayed in cabin 2. Our hosts Jim and Sherry were gracious and wonderful hosts. Flowers on the dining table and bathroom were welcoming. Our cabin was clean, well kept up and had great light. Kitchen is equipped with essentials - cutlery, pots and pans, grater, can opener...etc. They had great suggestions for hiking with our dog and area facts. They are giving with time, stories, chanterells, and a special gift of kindness. It's our first trip without our kids, now that they are all over 21. The area is a great base camp and if you love forests check out the Lost 40. We would love to return in the fall with the kids. Highly recommend.

Quiet getaway
This is rustic Northwoods cabin, as listed. Excellent value for the money. Owners are exceptionally nice and attentive. Views from cabin 1 are amazing. Saw bald eagles, pelicans, many different ducks, and several other birds right from our cabin. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy cabin in nature
We were very impressed by our experience. The cabin is clean and tastefully furnished, we even had live flowers in a vase! There are plenty of hiking places close-by and our hosts, Jim and Sherry are very helpful. We would definitely stay there again!
