Horizons Golf Club, Villa 124 - Stay right on the golf course!

Nestled amongst spectacular wetlands and bushland is Horizons Golf Course, a par 72, 18-hole championship golf course. The course offers challenges and rewards for players of all standards, who also enjoy the abundance of wildlife, including many kangaroos and native birds. Enjoy a day out on the scenic course, and when you're ready to explore the local area, you're just over 2km from Salamander Shopping Centre and Tavern or a 10-minute drive to Nelson Bay for boutique shopping, award-winning restaurants and the marina, where dolphin watch cruises depart daily.

Perfect for a golfing getaway or Port Stephens holiday, Villa 124 overlooks the golf course and is set up for both singles and couples. Relax over a BBQ on the patio after a game of golf and watch the sunset. You may even see some of our local kangaroos.

Inside, you'll find air-conditioned living with a flat screen TV, Foxtel with entertainment and sports package, and a DVD player with surround sound, plus a kitchen with microwave, hotplate and an oven, and a gas BBQ on the patio for outdoor dining. There are 2 bedrooms, each with their own ensuite featuring a combined spa bath and shower. One bedroom features a queen bed and king single bed, plus a TV, and the other bedroom has 2 king single beds that can be joined. Guests also have access to an external shared laundry with washer and dryer, and one off-street car space.

Great Villa Setup and Facilities for Golf Weekend

Four of us stayed for 2 nights to play golf and will definitely be back! The villa is right on the 10th tee, comfy beds, plenty of lounge space, big TV and Foxtel, nice kitchen and a bathroom for each bedroom. Great covered deck to sit and watch the afternoon go by with a beverage, even have a BBQ. A key box would be handy to avoid the extra drive into Nelson Bay to pick up the keys, and again to drop them back the opposite way after leaving.

OK except for Access

Property was clean and well presented, however it was found that access from the car park was via a long, steep set of steps which were unsuitable for use by anyone with any sort of mobility issues. We had to use the shorter steps at the next group of villas, then walk across a sloping lawn and right around the villas to get my parents, aunty etc into the villas. There is no mention of access issues in any of the advertising or photos.
