Silver Princess Cottage - Karma Kinglake

The Silver Princess Cottage is the first of three two-bedroom cottages that Karma Kinglake offers. These gorgeous and cozy hexagonal-shaped cottages are located in three acres of beautiful garden. Ideal for families, couples, or friends who want to get away, relax and unwind in nature.

Kinglake is home to the amazing Kinglake National Park. Just an hour from Melbourne airport and CBD, close to wineries of the Yarra Valley and fabulous walking and cycling trails.

Karma Kinglake was built after the disastrous fires on Black Saturday 2009. Wherever possible recycled materials and reclaimed timbers from properties in the local area have been used. We endeavour to be as self-sustaining as possible, have rainwater tanks, our own orchard and veggie patch, and treat all our wastewater.

Guests are welcome to enjoy the entire property (just over 3 acres), we have specific rooms available for guests who require disability access, and we welcome well-behaved dogs upon request.

Make yourself at home, ask us about our local native birds (feed them from your deck area) or grab some eggs from our resident chickens, "the Lay Girls." We live onsite and are here if you need us, and happy to help you explore.

Kinglake getaway

Interesting property - well designed and very comfortable. Nice to listen to the birdlife and very little traffic. Within easy walking distance to shops and the local pub - great lunch!

Karma Kinglake

We had a thoroughly enjoyable visit to Karma Kinglake. Our cottage was cosy, elegant and suitable for our family’s needs; the rainfall shower was awesome, fireplace was charming and waking up to the eucalypts emerging through the mist was magical. A short stroll to the amazing Bollygum Park and into town to explore. Many thanks for our little getaway.

Peaceful paradise

Definitely a peaceful place to stay. All the birds singing in the morning and looking out watching the chooks. Sat on the deck in the morning and watched the sun rise. Loved the little wood heater. Was even going when we arrived. Definitely enjoyed our stay Thankyou
