About this property

Unwind, relax, and enjoy at this cozy/quaint cottage. Located just two miles away from downtown Port Austin. Featuring stunning views of Lake Huron from every window in this Lake House. Grab a cup of coffee and sit out on the deck and enjoy nature at it's finest.

It has a fully equipped kitchen. Two bedrooms, and a queen size futon in in the family room. Two full baths. It is set back on 3/4 of an acre. It has a fire pit with some wood provided. Cable TV/internet.

Short walk to Fireside inn and bar. The town has lots to do including shopping, groceries, local artists , and restaurants. Local business brochures available in the rental house.

Very Private yard with privacy Fences on both sides of the lakeside yard...

Summer Getaway

My wife and I enjoyed the property immensely! Beautiful views of the lake from the deck and beach made for a very relaxing experience and our favorite spot for taking in sunsets. Plenty of room in the kitchen for cooking when we wanted to do that and overall the property had everything we needed to support a great time at the lake!

VRBO Fabulousness

I absolutely love the house and the location! It’s is very beautiful & kept up beyond any VRBO I’ve ever stayed in. And then there lies the LAKE around back with a HUGE Sandy beach and ALL THE ROCKS AND STONES along the shoreline to SIFT through day & night. You can see they care about their listing very much and it shows as soon as you pull up!! Fresh thriving flowers are planted everywhere!! That’s the BACK of the house aka roadside which was my favorite porch EVER. THE BIRDS start and never stop due to the woodsy area on the roadside and Lake Huron on the other side. I didn’t know Michigan had such beautiful sunsets. Unbelievable BEAUTY I’d say the house is well kept and truly has almost everything you’ll need. That air conditioner and WiFi worked GREAT. The only downside was no garbage disposal. I cooked ALOT and I appreciate all the cookware and the DISHWASHER. Thank you for the provisions of your home and I definitely give 5 stars to this true GEM.

Lake life

The beautiful sunset, bonfires, quite, away from the rush and traffic. Peaceful! The weather was a little cooler, but enjoyed our stay.

All the little things that make for a perfect stay were visible and appreciated Felt right at home in just a few minutes Cottage was super clean and comfortable and quiet Sunsets were out of this world Need I say more We will be back!
