About this property

This cozy Creekside Cottage is just off Hwy 101, midway, between Sequim and Port Angeles. We are tucked away, in a quiet & peaceful little valley, with a creek running along side the lower yard. Enjoy this view from the fenced in backyard or take a stroll to refresh your senses.

The meadow below has a swing in the big maple which we HIGHLY recommend you try. Guests are welcome to use the fire pit as well.
This area is a great space to play games, exercise your dog, or just hangout. Night golf, cornhole and horseshoes are just a few of the games we have available for use.
Or just find a spot to sit down by the creek and take it all in!
The Olympic Discovery Trail is easy to get to and only a mile away for hiking or biking.

The bedroom is furnished with a very comfortable queen size pillow top mattress with all bedding. Built in dresser & closet for your convenience.

Our kitchen has a full size refrigerator, 4 burner stove with oven, crock pot, microwave, toaster & Keurig coffee maker. We have stocked the kitchen with all the tools you'll need to prepare meals and even do a little baking if you choose. In the cupboard are essential spices, olive oil, sugar, flour, coffee and a few other items. You will also find a gas BBQ in the backyard.

The bathroom has a shower & commode. We have provided cozy towels and washcloths. In the shower is a dispenser with Aussie shampoo, conditioner and Ivory body wash.
Unfortunately, the bathroom does not have a sink.

Relax in the living room and enjoy the electric fireplace, flat screen TV with Direct TV, stereo & DVD player. We have provided tv trays or use the lift top coffee table for your meals. The couch makes into a full size bed. Bedding provided. Or sit in the comfy Stress-less reclining chair with ottoman.

We are dog friendly and can provide a bed, dishes, etc. Please let us know breed and size of your furry friend and what needs you have.

We respect your privacy and hope you have a relaxing stay at our home. We are very neighborly people so don't be shy about waving "hello" if you see us out. We live 2 parking spaces from the cottage.
Which is why we have put up a privacy fence that seems to work quite well.

Olympic Peninsula

Mitch & Michelle were wonderful! Definitely made us acquainted with the surrounding area and felt homely and friendly whilst being there. Will be our go-to from now on if and when we visit the Pacific Northwest again!

Wonderful stay with Michelle and Mitch!

First the hosts were wonderful! We did not expect the property to be so beautiful as we only saw the photos of the cabin. They gave us an upgrade that was luxurious and were super knowledgeable about great places to eat, and places to visit. The home was stocked with all necessities and was perfect for our stay, clean and quiet with lots of outdoor space too. Next time we are using the grill!! We want to thank you for your hospitality as we sorely needed a getaway to shake off stress and to relax in shades of green.. Will stay any day of the week, don't miss this place if you need a home while on vacation. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love and caring you showed us! <3

Cozy, warm, functional winter hideaway

My spouse and I stayed for five nights. Arrived in a snowstorm and happliy hiked / snowshoed / explored Sequim/Port Angeles during our stay. The hosts were friendly, accommodating, and responsive. The property was smaller than expected - kind of a studio cabin. The bedroom and livingroom are separated by a partition wall that is open at the top, and the bedroom and kitchen are one-and-the-same (you would eat at the coffee table in the living room, unless you are the eat-in-bed types). This was fine for us and probably would be for people with a small child or children. With three adults it might not be private enough. There are lots of small and large shelves and cupboards to stow your belongings, so you do not trip over your gear given the petite space. The kitchen was very functional, and despite the cold weather, we were comfortably warm.

Lovely little getaway

The space is cozy and small with plenty of space heaters. My wife and I had a lovely time walking around the nearby Port Angeles, and the area around the creek is beautiful. We would love to come back in the summer and better enjoy the grounds!

Cute, comfy and cozy!

Creekside Cottage was very homey, comfy and quiet. Great home base for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. Owners Michelle and Mitch were very friendly and helpful. Mitch gave me fresh ling cod he had caught; yummy! Nice fenced in back yard for my 2 dogs. The cottage was clean and had all the amenities needed. Would definitely stay here again.
