Come enjoy the great direct ocean view from our home away from home!!

Our 2BR / 2Bath Hawaiian Luxury Suite is located on the 8th floor (one next to the ocean front unit) and accommodates up to 6 people. It has 2 private lanais with excellent DIRECT ocean views where you can watch the whales, enjoy rainbows and sunsets with views of Molokai in the background. Our suite features almost 1000 square feet of interior space and two private lanais and is extensively remodeled to a modern style of tropical Hawaii.

Features of our home include: Granite Counter tops, custom cabinetry, GE Profile appliances in the kitchen; ceramic tile in the living area and plush *new* carpeting in the bedrooms. There is custom built-in cabinetry and closets in both bedrooms to accommodate storage during your stay. The master bedroom features a full size walk-in shower, custom cabinetry, granite counter tops, and a king size bed with luxurious linens. The secondary bedroom features 2 twin beds with the same amenities. The twin beds can be pushed together to make a king size bed. Must be done via request. There is an additional queen size sofa sleeper in the living room.

Washer and dryer are available in the suite for “at home” convenience. LCD TVs are also installed in both bedrooms and the living room.

The beautiful Kaanapali Shores Resort offers many amenities with 2 pools, 3 lighted tennis courts, activity desk, fitness and massage center, spas, garden gazebo, and complementary scuba lesson. The main pool/spa and restaurant are conveniently located near your condo, overlooking the ocean for you to relax and enjoy the view.
The lush gardens, waterfalls, beautiful exotic flowers, and rolling greens make the 10 acres of Kaanapali Shores feel like your home in paradise.

For the golf fanatic, play at the Royal Kaanapali golf course which is 5 minute drive from The Whaler. Or drive 15 minutes to Kapalua and play the Bay, Village or Plantation Courses. The Plantation at Kapalua is home to the PGA Mercedes Championship which is played in the beginning of January every year.

Across the street are Times Market, Maui’s Best Pizza, Coffee Cafe, The Fish Market, and more, all within walking distance. Enjoy a relaxing day at the beach or shopping at Whaler’s Village. Lahaina Town with its excellent restaurants and quaint shops are also just minutes away.

Black Rock is one of the best snorkel locations on the island and is a short drive away, or if you are adventurous take a walk down the beach from your home away from home.

Perfect Maui Dream Condo

So many things we loved about this condo! Our Maui Home sweet home. Clean, comfortable with the best views. The location, gorgeous property, friendly staff, food trucks and grocery store within walking distance. Cute locals' gift shops also across the street, a must to support the Lahaina locals! Don't forget to listen to the whales singing! Absolutely magical family vacation.

Lovely view... but a few disappointments

We love Maui and this property is nice enough, on the beach and in a great location. BUT, it could disappoint in some ways. The window does not open in 2nd bedroom (huge bummer if you look forward to ocean breezes and sounds of waves) as well as screen doors that can be hard to open (master bedroom, mostly). TVs were a bit hard to use (updated smart tv's would be optimal) and we were surprised when the fuse blew when hair dryers are used at the same times in each bathroom. We made sure that only happened once. :-) It took a while to locate fuse box behind a picture hanging in the hall, so that power could be back on in the bathroom. The owner was super responsive and overall there was good communication! Kitchen was decently appointed, plenty of beach towels. Loved watching whales from the lanai and our stay here didn't damper our vacation. It's an older building. lovely grounds, just have stayed in nicer properties for this price point.

Great Location and nice re-design

The condo's new renovations/upgrades are beautiful. Both bathrooms were beautifully done and had great water pressure and temperature and lighting. The gift bag from Vacasa was very useful and appreciated (reusable shopping/beach bag with lots of great snacks). The location was great for us. Close to both Napili (which we know well) and the Kaanapali resort area restaurants. But the food trucks out front were the best food options. I'm not a food truck guy, but they were the best food we had during our stay. And there are about 9 of them so plenty of types of food. I highly recommend. The lanai had ocean views and we did see whales in the distance. No sunsets at this time of year as you can't see south. It was also a bit windy up there almost every day. Not sure if it's always like that but we were there 8 nights and we couldn't stay out there too long. Assuming we had bad luck if I were to make a suggestion I would get a smaller table to be able to fit and maybe have lounge chairs. The only disappointment is the living room is still a bit outdated. The couch is very old and the TV is the size of my PC monitor and unviewable from the couch. You don't go to Maui to watch TV. However, after an active day it's nice to unwind and cuddle up. Also, there's the rainy days. We used the master bedroom TV. Also note, there's no streaming option (just basic cable). Also there's a floor above and you hear the screech of chairs and footsteps unless you're lucky (typical of condos).

Family trip

This condo was exactly as listed. Almost at the front of the building with great views. Ocean views from both bedrooms and the living room. The host responded immediately and was very friendly and helpful and there were no problems. The kitchen and master bedroom and bath were upgraded and very high end. We would like to stay here again

The view is hard to beat

Loved the view!! Be aware that there is a large wall to your left (if looking out the patio) so your view is blocked left. The view right is incredible, and the “prettier” part of the cost anyway, it felt like we had our house as we really couldn’t see another balcony around us. This is a great place, I would offer it needs some very minor updates. Just from west & tear on the property. 2nd bedroom needs blackout curtain replaced, and the beds took a little getting used to as a full sized adult. Fresh cost of paint wouldn’t hurt in the off season. None of this was a detractor from our nearly perfect stay. Would come back!!
