Casa Cueva Agua is the last we have prepared to make it available to our clients, although according to various studies we believe that within Finca La Tala, it is the oldest. All our houses, as has been well said, are historical, there is none that is chopped, neither in this one nor in the previous century. You can make a calculation, by the way it has some rooms chopped, that this cave is more than 3 centuries old.
Of the 5 rooms that it has, 2 of them have the shape of "rib of cow", according to the denomination of the current masons. This means that the roof is two straight planes that converge at a central angle. The other rooms have also had this form, but for reasons of constructive security, and their maintenance status, there has been no choice but to modify them.
This cave house is located in the lower part of the farm and originally, it has been the center of the life of the farm, having inside the oven where bread was traditionally made for the community that worked there.
The dimensions are very large, if we think about the past, lived in it two families, with a kitchen room and even a room for animals, common situation in humble families living in rural areas.
The cave has two large bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds. It has a distribution room, where there is also the small kitchen, from which you can access the bathroom, the bedrooms and the living room.
The living room has about 20 square meters, with a large fireplace that in winter is the best of the house.
Finally the bathroom has a whirlpool bath.
The constructive decoration of the house has been made with recycled materials, using wooden doors for part of the floor, or sheets of formwork already discarded. The cupboards we have built with reused window shutters, and for the sink or the sink we have used old discarded pans.
