Threlkeld
Generally very good - very quiet, and in excellent location. The caretaker was helpful & friendly. One minor criticism: the bath would be too high for a disabled person to get into; my wife had difficulty.

Lakeland weekend
Fantastic stayover after a difficult year we were so ready to recharge our batteries, the cottage had everything we needed to include complimentary wine and biscuits. Extremely well laid out ground floor accommodation for 2 people with loads of space. Threlkeld is a lovely village with 2 local pubs within walking distance and a short trip to Keswick. Cant wait to return

Fabulous!!
The property was wonderful. Everything we needed for our stay. Walks for our dogs on the doorstep and beautiful views all around. The added extras (tea, coffee, biscuits, wine!) were gratefully accepted. Definitely worth a visit!!

Peaceful location
We had a relaxing and peaceful week in this cottage at the foot of Blencathra. The views from the cottage were stunning and an excellent stay for visiting Keswick.

We bought this property in June 2014 as we felt there simply was no better spot to have a holiday home in the Lake District. Spacious, versatile, private, great views, full of charm and character, loads of good walks from the doorstep and a great pub a short distance away. The village is nestled in a picturesque setting at the foot of Blencathra and has amenities including children's play facilities. This is our own holiday home and has had a full refurbishment making it a comfortable, clean and relaxing environment whatever the weather!
