Loved it!

The cabin was clean, and quiet. I took my dog, had a great time walking around on the property. I will return to this cabin. Although it's off a ways from anywhere, it's worth it!

Wonderful cabin in the woods!

Our stay in a Turkey Creek Cove cabin could not have been better! The directions to find it were detailed and helpful. The hosts, Jerry and Linda, were onsite and very friendly. We loved the cabin, especially the porch that looked out into a beautiful green lush forest. We spent every morning drinking coffee there and every evening until it got dark. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were so soft. Thank you for our wonderful stay. Hopefully we will be back someday!

Beautiful cabins

We had an amazing time in this cabin. The property where these cabins are located is very quiet and neat (the owners do an awesome job to keep it beautiful), we also used the fire pit and roasted a few marshmallows for s'mores. On this trip there was no time to walk the on-site trail, but we went to "Max Patch" which is close and had amazing views. The owners left a binder prepared with printed directions to trails, nearby supermarkets and general information about places around the area. Be aware that cellphone reception might be spotty, if you get any, but the owners have a landline to keep you communicated. Our pet cat was with us (you have to pay a fee if you want to bring you pet) and we all felt comfortable the whole time. Some places we visited during our stay: Soco Falls, Smoky Mountains National Park, Blue Ridge Parkway overlooks, Maggie Valley, Lake Janaluska and more. We really recommend this place!

Everything exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay here again if there is availability.

I arrived late in the evening 10:15 PM approximately and the owner Jerry used his 4 Wheeler to escort me to my cabin. I knew immediately I had made the right choice.

Christmas getaway

Had an absolutely fantastic weekend. I was worried about spending our holiday away from family /friends, (kids live on west coast/not wasting vacation at the airport) but cabin was amazing. Super appreciate all the personal touches the host added. Highly recommend!!

Great stay

We came to the cabin for a Christmas Vacation. We had never been to the area before. We wanted to be close to Asheville but still have a mountain cabin feel. We throughly enjoyed the stay. They even put up a small Christmas tree in the living room that was the perfect touch. We had a great time. Not to bad of a drive to the near by towns. Waynesville was a great town. We found good food and shopping.

Out in the woods

Cabin was clean, however the porch was very dirty and the gas grill has not been cleaned in a long time. Grease and dirt to the point the grill needs a total deep cleaning or replaced.

Centrally located for trips to Asheville, Maggie Valley, and a relatively short jaunt to East Tennessee attractions allowing us to maximize time with friends in the area. Having a quiet clean place to come back to was a real blessing !

Max Patch Getaway!

Perfect cabin for two. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners who were lovely. Max Patch is about 10 miles away (30 minute drive) and if you haven't been there it's a must see at sunset. Enjoyed the stay.

Amazing Stay - Highly Recommend!

Needing some unplugged time, my significant other and I took our dogs to this little cabin, located just 45 west of Asheville. The cabin is one of five on the property, nicely secluded away from the other cabins. The property is amazing! It is a large area on the side of a mountain and includes a long hiking trail, a fire pit, and plenty of space to explore. The cabin itself was clean, cute, and great. I cannot say enough good things. And lastly, the owners of the mountain are AMAZING. Linda is so friendly and lovely, and her husband and two dogs are just as great. If I could give 10 stars I would!

Great Time

Stayed here for my sons 13th birthday and we really enjoyed it. He immediately fell in love with the electric recliner. The drive up the driveway had a learning curve, you can’t stop halfway up the hill, but once I figured that out it was no problem. The cabin was clean and nicely furnished. I enjoyed the location as it was convenient (about an hour) to several locations. We spent most of our time in and around Cherokee as to not hit the high touristy areas. The property has a few hiking trails that aren’t to technical but had a few challenging inclines. We made the hikes with a few resting periods to enjoy the scenery. We saw a few deer along the way. The owners were friendly and sppproachable. Would stay again

Perfect secluded mountain retreat

We booked a last minute long weekend away over the New Year (we were fortunate there was a last minute reschedule that opened up this cabin). The cabin was exactly what we needed! The hosts were very friendly and helpful, it was clean and comfortable, and the peacefulness was wonderful. The entire property is beautiful, we hiked up the cove to the overlooks and enjoyed having trails right at our doorstep. We would highly recommend renting and wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Great secluded cabin!

My wife and I decided a secluded cabin getaway was a great way to spend some time after a lot of working from home over the past several months. This was the perfect cabin for that! Cozy with all the amenities you need, we brought a big pot of chili, some grilled cheese, and a few other food items so we didn’t get in our car for three days. We loved the gas fireplace! We had a problem with the coffee maker, but we contacted the host and she brought us a new coffee maker the next day! Awesome service. The cabin was great for dogs - we brought two. We hiked some of the trails and roads around the cabin, they were beautiful (and very steep!). Overall a great experience and we’re hoping to go back soon!

Nice remote cabin

This cabin is a sweet little place to call home for a stay in th Western North Carolina mountains. Very private location on the woods. The owner lives nearby and is very attentive to her guests.
