This is a large lakefront home with 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, 2 lounge rooms and a large rear covered deck overlooking the lake. The main living area is open plan and is a very spacious kitchen/living/ dining area. From each bedroom as well as from the kitchen, living room and dining room there are beautiful lake views. Off street parking is available for several cars. The house is in an excellent location - a quiet cul de sac street and the lake accessible from the back garden.
The large modern kitchen is generously equipped with everything you could want. There is an additional rumpus/lounge room so that there are 2 x TV's and 2 x DVD players at the house - parents and adults can have their own space. Also available are a ping pong table, pool table, dart board, indoor/outdoor games, DVD library, 3 x kayaks, and scooters. All beds will have been made up upon arrival with fresh linen - just move in and enjoy your holiday.
This lovely lakefront home is a perfect holiday destination for 1 to 2 families. Situated within a large garden (1800sq.m), and on the shores of Burrill Lake, it is a wonderful place to relax and to explore all that the South Coast has to offer. This home is within walking distance or a short drive to the beach and lagoon, local shops and cafe, a 10 minute drive to Ulladulla/Mollymook and 15 minutes to historic Milton. The nearest boat ramp is approx. 30 metres away at Barker Reserve - park your boat outside the house. There is another boat ramp at Maria Avenue.
Meroo State Forest is a short distance across the lake by kayak, or a short drive away - perfect for camping overnight, intrepid mountain bike riding, or exploring on foot amongst the gums.
The South Coast is one beautiful beach after the other. Experience the kangaroos and beauty of Pretty and Pebbly beaches. At different times of the year you may be lucky enough to see whales at Dolphin Point as they migrate South or North.
PLEASE NOTE:
The minimum booking period is 2 nights except in peak period - Dec/Jan where it is 5 days minimum.
The property can sleep up to 10 guests, however, generally we accept a maximum of 4 adults plus 4 kids.
This house is not available for "Schoolies" or bucks/hens weekends.
Please DO NOT book this house if you intend to hold late and loud parties.
ACCOMMODATION
This house has 3 bedrooms each with lovely views of the lake. Bedroom 1 has a king size bed, and ensuite bathroom. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a single bed. Bedroom 3 has 2 sets of single bunks plus each bunk has a trundle underneath - i.e sleeping for 6 in single beds. Each bedroom is carpeted and has built in wardrobes, a fan and a heater. There is an additional sofa bed with double mattress in the rumpus room that can be used if required.
The kitchen is modern with stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher and caesarstone benchtops. It is well equipped to cater for cooking families, with the usual microwave, pots, pans etc, as well as a coffee machine, juicer, blender, sandwich toaster and rice cooker. The large pantry is stocked with a few essentials. (Note: it is BYO high chair) .
The main living/kitchen/dining area has lovely lake views and is open plan with a dining table for 8, and a lounge area with plasma screen, DVD player. The dining table is easily extended to seat 12 people comfortably. (extension panels and extra chairs are located in the garage) The lounge and dining area opens onto a long and wide verandah with outdoor seating, gas BBQ and outdoor dining area, then on to a large lawn - perfect for cricket or soccer etc.
Beyond the lawn is a waterfront reserve of grass, and then the lake. (Please note: the garden on the lakefront side is NOT fenced. The garden on the street side is fenced and gated, however the gates do not have child proof locks).
There is a separate rumpus room with a TV and DVD player, plus a pool table, tennis table and dart board in an adjoining area. The house is equipped with board games, a cricket set, a croquet set, totem tennis, badminton set, a boule set, a couple of bikes and 3 seaworthy kayaks. (Helmets are not provided and liability for accidents or injury if you choose to use these items will not be accepted).
All bed linen, doonas, blankets and pillows etc. are provided.
Beach and bath towels need to be brought with you - Towels are NOT provided.
The house has 3 bathrooms - one a main with a bath. There is a separate laundry with a front loading washing machine, a dryer and tub.
For year round comfort the main living area has air conditioning, and gas heating. The rumpus room and bedrooms also have heaters. The bedrooms all have fans, and the doors and windows have insect screens.
The house does NOT have it's own wi-fi. Hotspot from mobile phones or another method is required to access internet.
Responsible pet owners are welcome upon request. Pets are to be provided with their own bedding and kept off house beds and furniture. The front garden (street side) is fenced. The back garden (lakeside) is NOT fenced. Pet bowls are provided, however it is BYO pet bedding. The nearby beach is dog friendly - leads required. Collers Beach in Mollymook is a 24hr off lead beach. All pets are to sleep on their own beds and not use the furniture or beds at the house.

Fees include accommodation with fresh linen, and cleaning costs are also included.
A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking. Full payment is required 8 weeks prior to the booking arrival date to finalise your booking.
Cancellation fees apply: less than 4 weeks from your arrival date - no refund on full payment, 4-8 weeks notice from your arrival date your deposit is retained, more than 8 weeks notice an $100.00 admin fee is payable.
Burrill Lake and Attractions
Burrill Lake is situated on the South Coast of NSW, approximately 5 minutes from Ulladulla - a major South Coast town. Within Burrill Lake itself you will find all that you require - convenient grocery store, cafe serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, newsagent, hairdresser, masseuse and day spa, delicious fresh fish and chip shop, fishing supplies, stand up paddle hire, and a bottle shop.
Nearby, Burrill Beach, Dolphin Point and the lagoon are fun for swimming, walks, shell collecting, boogie boarding, surfing, fishing etc.
At the lake you can hire canoes/kayaks, and paddleboats, or bring your own toys (Note: there are 3 kayaks available at the house). The lake is also a great place to swim, fish, waterski, sail, or just sit and watch the birds, the jumping fish, the sunset.
Nearby at the Big4 caravan park there is putt putt golf, native bird feeding, tennis court hire and canoe/paddle boat hire. A children's playground is approx. 30m away in Barker Reserve.
Burrill Lake has several boat ramps from which to launch your boat. The closest is at Barker Reserve - 30m away. There is also one at Maria Ave. Your boat is easily parked in the lake outside the house. Please note that it is a slow 8 knot zone directly outside the house.
For the adventurous, bushwalks and mountain climbs (Pigeon House and The Castle) plus the Clyde River are easily accessible. There are also lovely walks around the headlands at Dolphin Point heading south, and through the National Park trails at other beaches such as Pretty and Pebbly beaches. Across Burrill Lake is the Meroo National Park where there are also extensive trails for walking and bike riding. Horse riding is close by at Termeil or Milton.
Ulladulla is a 5 minute drive where you will find several major supermarkets, fresh local fish shops, galleries, banks, cinemas, restaurants, bookshops, indoor funland, information, etc. From various businesses in Ulladulla you can organise fishing trips, whale and dolphin watching tours, diving, learn to surf, or skirmish.
Historic Milton is a 15 minute drive and boasts boutique shops, galleries, cafes, bakeries, and markets (1st weekend of each month).
Mollymook (10 minutes) has two golf courses, a shopping centre, and lovely beach. Rick Stein's restaurant "Bannisters" is in Mollymook.
Other beaches a short drive away are Wairo, Bawley Point, Pretty Beach, Merry Beach, and Pebbly Beach. Both Pretty and Pebbly Beach are within National Parks and here you will find resident kangaroos plus bush tracks through the forests between the various headlands and beaches - keep an eye out for whales at the right time of year. Pretty and Merry Beach are accessed via Bawley point - another beautiful beach to visit.
