About this property

40 Beach Road Porangahau.
The accommodation consists of 2 floors of a 3 storey house. Owners live upstairs.
The accommodation is self contained.
The bottom floor is open plan with a new kitchen, lounge with 3 couches, one of which is a comfortable sofa bed, and a dining table seating 8.
There is a bunk room with 8 bunks, note there is no door on the bunk room.
Shower and toilet. See photos for layout of this area.
The second storey which is accessed externally, has a large room with a Queen and a single bed, a second large room with a Queen and a single bed, a third room is smaller and has a Queen bed, and the 4th room is very small with a double bed. A kitchenette with a second fridge/freezer. There is a shower and toilet on this level also. All queen rooms have ranch sliders opening onto a deck also accessible from the side of the house.
Sheets Towels and Pillowcases are not provided, but we do have them for a charge.
All other linen is provided.
Washing machine is available to guests on request.

Loved the stay. Beautiful place , beautiful view and wonderful hosts.

Very easy going hosts, we come out for a 21st for the weekend and we loved it. Definately will want to book this place again

Great place - would recommend

Second time staying here and would happily return. Lots of comfy beds, clean and tidy, and the whole booking process nice and simple. Great location and you're on the beach in couple of minutes.

Bikepacking 3 day loop

We had a great stay at Porangahau...the house was well setup and suitable for our group of 6 bikepackers. Sue was a fabulous host and offered to get us groceries when she was in Dannevirke which was most appreciated as the pub was closed and it was raining...so options were slim! Would definately recommend this place to stay!
