Welcome to "Little Pearl". This adorable 2BR, 1.5BA bungalow located in the heart of Grayton is full of charm, has plenty of outdoor space, and is a short walk to the beach and many delicious restaurants!

Each reservation of this property includes a credit to be used towards beach gear rentals and services at Vacayzen! This includes bikes, beach chairs, paddle boards, kayaks, and tours/experiences and could even be used towards a beach bonfire for the entire family!

Built-in 1948, this Grayton Beach Cottage is full of charm you won't find anywhere else! Recently renovated, it still holds its original wood walls and ceilings, creating that historic character that makes this home, and Grayton Beach so special.

As soon as you pull up at Little Pearl Cottage, you will immediately notice the bright colors, beachy vibes, and large wraparound porch. Spend your mornings drinking coffee on the covered front porch! Upon entering the front door, you will be able to see the main living space and kitchen, which are open and full of natural light, making the home feel spacious. You will notice the kitchen with beautiful wood countertops and a dining area with room for the entire family! The living room is situated in the back of the home with plenty of seating and a flat-screen T.V. to have family movie nights after a busy day. Off the kitchen area, you will find two bedrooms, both featuring queen beds and a bunk room.

End of summer trip

Snuck a family trip in right before the kids went back to school. Location was amazing, easy walk to the beach or a 30 second golf cart ride. Neighborhood atmosphere great for evening walks or golf cart rides. Everything needed was within walk or 10 minute car ride. Minutes from seaside shopping without the crowds. New favorite beach.

We had a great time

Short walk to lots of shops, restaurants, bars and the beach. We rented a golf cart mostly for my mom (84). The parking at most places was an issue for full sized vehicles but not for carts. Bikes would work well also for most things. The cottage is quaint and spacious for two couples and has bunks for kids. It’s 1 1/2 bath but the one indoor shower is very large with two shower heads. There is an enclosed outdoor shower but we didn’t use it. Management was great. Very responsive to any issues not that we had many. It’s an older structure with a beach cabin vibe but very comfy and with a well outfitted kitchen. The best thing for us was the fenced yard and porch. One baby gate (provided) and our dog cold run free in and out of the yard and cottage without having to be on a leash all the time. Almost everywhere is dog friendly except the beach.

Cute Little Pearl

Little Pearl Cottage was a lovely spot to spend a few days in January. The vintage cottage was decorated with several antiques which added charm to this cute little place. The fenced yard was an added bonus for my furry friend. Working with the folks from iTrip was a pleasant experience. I needed to stay an additional day to avoid bad weather on my way back home and they were so accommodating. Additionally , the house was very well equipped for cooking family meals even though we didn’t cook. We enjoyed our time at this cute cottage. It’s perfect for a small family and a furry friend. We will definitely be back to this little gem! Thanks you, iTrip!!

Not like the picture

The house looks like a nice old Florida house in the picture and I was grateful that there was a fenced lawn for our small dog. It is with the outside of the house that I have issue with. The fence is broken in several areas so my small dog escaped twice. The lovely porch was very dirty so we never sat outside. The front lawn was nothing like the picture it was dirt and sand. No grass. The owners also need to upgrade security as the locks on two doors failed. Otherwise the inside has been updated nicely. Several floors and doorways need area rugs to wipe feet when coming in.

A Cute, Convenient, and Unpretentious Beach Cottage

The is a lovely old fashioned beach cottage in a neat neighborhood just a 5 minute walk from the beach. It is not one of these high end upscale houses where you have to worry about messing the place up every time you walk in-- it is instead a nice rustic beach cottage. Not perfect, but perfect for the purpose. Great porch, great outdoor shower, and just a short walk to the beach. The owners were outstanding. I would definitely stay here again.

Home loaded with charm.. but

The owner should take more upkeep pride in this historical cottage.. fence was falling apart, door sills were broken in two places .. mildew everywhere and floors had numerous soft spots .. this was our 2nd time renting and unfortunately it was worse that it was 4 years ago.. new fence, paint and flooring would go a long way! The home was well equipped in the kitchen linens and beds were excellent

Little Pearl

The Little Pearl is in the perfect location for Grayton Beach. While we enjoyed our stay, there were a few things to mention. When it rains, the driveway becomes a flooded pool and you can’t get in/out of your car without being in ankle deep water. The bedroom TVs didn’t have accounts/general cable to watch. The family room Tv was limited/not many kid channels (as I mentioned it raining and there wasn’t much to do for entertainment).

Adorable Old Florida style!

This little charmer was perfect for my husband and I and our two pups! We loved the quaint style and vernacular details. And the little fenced yard was a real help for our small dogs. Plus you can't beat the location! Grayton Beach is so special! However, I would love to see the property given some TLC! Several items seemed in need of repair. I mended a few pickets on the fence that had fallen off and the house could use a deep cleaning! Mold in the shower grout and the porch had a lot of mildew as well. I know the ocean conditions make it hard to maintain but as a rental, it is important to keep it fresh and clean. Thanks for sharing this special little Pearl!

House is falling apart and dirty

Although we expected a simple house due to the “pet-friendly” description, we walked into a very dirty house. The floors were filthy and left my children’s feet black after walking around barefoot the first evening. The outdoor shower is falling apart and has no light anywhere around it which made it difficult to wash off after sunset beach walks. The entire exterior of the house was covered in mildew. The floors in the house are uneven and sloped. There were stains on doors and walls that had not been cleaned. The refrigerator had missing shelves and sidebars. I could go on…. This is the 6th house we have stayed in at Grayton Beach over the years and by far the worst. You can’t beat the location, but we will definitely find another house next time.

Perfect beach cottage in Grayton

Overall the house was cute, quaint and everything a beach cottage in Grayton should be. Unfortunately, the property management company customer service was awful. The information advertised with the cottage was not exactly accurate and the information binder at the house requires some major updates. For 3/4 of the week our internet did not work. I spent more time trying to troubleshoot with the management company than I should ever need while on vacation. They promised to correct; sent a mx tech out who was unable to fix, tried to schedule the internet provider to fix who never showed up and eventually brought a hot spot in to fix on Wednesday evening (checkout was Sat am). If I was not persistent with calling iTrip every day, it would have never been fixed. Additionally, the tvs did not work properly. There was no cable as advertised, and the TV in the kids bedroom didn't work at all. Half the stove didn't work either. I requested a call from iTrip management to discuss my concerns and was told they would call and never did. None of these issues were enough to ruin a vacation to the beach obviously, but these amenities are part of the cost of the rental. If it's advertised in the listing it should all be in working order and if not, the property managers should be responsive to correcting. I will most likely look for our next beach house rented by an individual owner who has the time for proper customer service.

GRAYTon Vacation

I LOVED The Little Pearl! I love the historic charm, the wood on the walls and ceilings, the art, the natural light, the tin roof, and bright colors; it definitely gave me all the beach vibes! The location was FABULOUS! We loved being able to walk to our FAVE restaurant The Red Bar! We were able to walk to the beach, other restaurants, and shops with ease! There are a few minor repairs and issues with the house, but that is expected with an older property! Any issues we had were quickly resolved! We certainly hope to stay at The Little Pearl for our beach vacation again next summer!

Family Spring Break

We had a great time on our vacation in Grayton Beach. The property was well maintained and offered a well lite and cozy accommodation. So much potential but....

The Little Pearl is so cute and the location is perfect. However, the house needs a lot of updating and a deep cleaning. It's an older house so it's not expected to look like new constructions but the walls need painting, light fixtures need to be updated, need new/clean outside furniture, new window shades that work, and new shower. Maintenance could easily blow off leaves, replace broken light bulbs, dust baseboards, replace slipcovers (they had what looked like blood on them), clean up the moldy smell. Also, the internet is terrible and the TV is not internet-enabled - not only no Netflix etc but no cable! TV was not even watchable. The price was too high to have these problems that are all easy to fix. The house itself is so cute and it's close to everything!

Easter break

Loved the Grayton Beach area. The rental is in need of outdoor pressure washing and overall cleaning. The cottage is presented accurately online but was not clean on arrival: floors were gritty with sand/dirt. Expensive for quality of the cottage but rental properties in the area are in the same range. Will choose a hotel or newer property if we return to the area.
