Multiple spacious living zones soak up the scenery while a full-length deck and tranquil gardens take you closer to nature. What’s more, the Mornington Peninsula’s outstanding wineries, beaches, hot spring and seaside villages are within easy reach.

As the property name suggests, life at Halarah is all about relaxation. And it begins with a slow drive along the picturesque private driveway to the main house which is nestled in the hillside, overlooking rows of grapes and the verdant landscape.

An oversized front door invites you into the effortless elegance of the generous interior. The neutral scheme, wide floorboards, high raked ceiling, skylights, panelled walls and generous glazing create a sense of comfort while working in harmony with the stunning vista. And those views are carefully framed throughout this home. Families will be drawn to the spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining. A long island takes centre stage in the welcoming kitchen, acting as a hub for morning conversation and meals. While the adjoining dining area offers ample space and comfort for all guests. The conversation is sure to turn to the views from the sumptuous living room which features floor-to-ceiling glazing, fireplace and plush seating. A further living area also enjoys fabulous views and provides a more intimate space for guests to escape to.

A fuss-free and luxurious escape awaits in the master bedroom. The view is captured from the balcony, the king bed and even the restful ensuite, where there’s always time for a relaxing bath. At the other end of the house are the two remaining bedrooms, both with peaceful views. Younger guests will appreciate the twin double bunks, while the third serene bedroom houses a queen bed. A dramatic bathroom caters to these bedrooms.

The Area :
When you’re considering venturing out for the day, or just for a few hours, you don’t need to travel far to satisfy your needs. The charm of Flinders village is a ten-minute drive and here you’ll find cafes, restaurants, antique stores as well as a picturesque beach. Wineries, a world-class golf club, high-end dining and the Peninsula Hot Springs are a short drive. There are endless options if you want to explore the outdoors, from fishing, sailing to bushwalking and the coastal beauty of Cape Schanck Lighthouse. Should you want to travel to Melbourne, that’s only a 90-minute car trip.
