About this property

Celebrate Everything - A Muskoka Beauty | 1,800sqf plus bunkie & dry boathouse

On beautiful Lake Muskoka, located 5min East from Port Carling, before Beaumaris, a year-round cottage situated on 1.5 acres in a much sought-after location along the platinum shoreline. For your pleasure, a 110’ waterline with weed-free shallow entry of hard-packed sand – fun for the kids, and peace of mind for parents. The gentle shoreline goes from shallow to deeper at the end of the dock, for the impatient that prefer the quick splash.

The cottage is set back just 50’ from the water, with 500sqf flat green grass spacing the cottage and the water. Take-in the magnificent South-West views from the deck, with full day sun to maximize water play and outdoor lounging. Warm up in the deck jacuzzi, and watch the sun set or rise over the bay’s Easterly tree-lined horizon, whatever your pleasure.

The 1,800+ sqf cottage accommodation includes on the main floor a Muskoka room, family room, fireplace, dining room, 3x bedrooms, office (with 4th bedroom conversion option), bathrooms (3x full) and additional sitting areas – all wide-planked flooring and surrounded by high quality windows to enjoy lake and garden views. At the back of the cottage, an over-sized 40,000sqf open undulating green-space to do whatever the heart desires.

Upstairs, the master bedroom enjoys the same stunning lake views, and is strategically cornered for privacy. Ample closet room and en-suite bathroom enhance the master bedroom experience, as well as French doors opening to a step-out Juliet balcony for more exquisite lake gazing. Two more smaller bedrooms make up the upstairs living space, perfect for kids and suitable for adults. Just steps away from the main cottage, a charming bunkie to sleep one or two more.

Returning outside, a rustic dry-dock boathouse compliments the deck, an indoor-outdoor lounging haven to take reprieve from the sun while enjoying the refreshing cool lake breeze and splendid lake views.

Great place inside and out
Very comfortable space with lots of room for the family to spread out. The kids loved fishing off the dock, swimming in the shallow water, and floating on the giant pad. We especially enjoyed the boat house.

Just what we needed
The cottage was immaculate, the listing information under promised and over delivered, kitchen has everything needed for a large group, the knives are super sharp, the converted boathouse creates an amazing dock experience and there are lots of different areas in the cottage for people to spread out and visit or just chill. The bay is very quiet and not on a boat traffic lane which was a welcome surprise. Two big thumbs up from me 😊

A beautiful home full of warmth
My husband and I stayed for a 5 day visit with our two sheepadoodles. The location was wonderful with a beautiful view of the lake from the kitchen and living area. I’m a neat freak and this place was so clean!! The owner truly thought of everything you might need and it was there. He was available by text or phone if we needed anything. The deck was awesome and our “hairy kids” loved being able to walk out into the lake to swim. Most of all- we loved the general feel of this home—— because it felt like a home not just a house- a peaceful family kind of feel. You’ll love it!

60th Birthday Celebration
We had an amazing family weekend celebrating my 60th Birthday. Loved everything about this place. Dock was great to tie up our boat and sea doos. Fire pit was great every night and warming up in the hot tub was great on cooler cloudy day! All in all a great place to stay!
