About this property

This cottage is located on beautiful Belmont Lake. It has large windows overlooking the lake, a nice big deck, gazebo, fire pit, bbq and dock to enjoy! You can also enjoy our hammock, porch swing and paddle boat. The lake is great for swimming, our beach is nice for children and timid swimmers. We have a great spot for fishing. The winter is a perfect time for skating on the lake. We offer air conditioning in July and August.

Perfect spot for a family getaway

Very clean, and spacious cottage. Very well equipped kitchen. Beach was perfect for our young children. Kids had a great time fishing off the dock. Lots of wildlife, saw otters and a heron within our swimming area.

Family Getaway

Julie’s property is great. Super clean and very comfortable. The lake is amazing. Soft sandy and shallow lake entry perfect for little swimmers. Our 4 year old could not get enough of splashing in the shallow water. The property is also in one of the sheltered bays of the lake so much quieter and calmer water - great for paddling. The cottage itself is very well equipped. All the kitchen stuff, games, life jackets of all sizes, movies, etc. The location is also fantastic. 10 min from town for rainy day ice cream trips or to grab a coffee. Also for beer drinkers check out Belmont Lake Brewery 8 min down the road right on the lake!

Relax and unwind at the lake

As two small families (2+3) with two kids in wheelchairs we were thrilled to find the cottage accessible and full of open space. Games and stuff to do and a morning view that was unbeatable. Fully stocked and a great host who was easy to reach and very helpful. We had the best time.

The perfect spot!

Julie was an amazing host, super communicative and her property was just as described. Except the views and lake…. Were even better than we had hoped. We will most definitely be booking again!!

I have enjoyed cottage life since early childhood. Canoeing, kayaking, and swimming are some of my favourite summer time activities. Since I have spent so much time at the lake I am familiar with what to expect of wild life and the out doors in all seasons. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask I'd be happy to familiarize you with my neck of the woods. I sincerely hope you enjoy cottage life as much as I do.

Why they chose this property

Our property has the perfect location on Belmont Lake. It is located in a beautiful bay, which makes the noise and traffic from other boats at a minimum. It also creates a great wild life area. People come from all over the lake to fish in our bay.
