About this property

Endless Blue Ridge Mountains View + Secluded cabin

Hot tub! Outdoor Firepleace on the front porch 🔥 Two indoor gas fireplaces - Game room w Foosball & Pac Man - Firepit. Custom built luxury cabin "Tupelo Honey" is tucked away from it all for seclusion and amazing long range views of the Blue Ridge Mountains national forest in the Aska Adventure area and yet still less than 7 miles from all that historic dwntown Blue Ridge has to offer! AWD or 4x4 drive is recommended for the gravel road. Front wheel drive vehicles are not advisable. Our cabin is located on the mountain for incredible views, privacy and seclusion - which requires travel on a gravel road to reach the cabin - we think it is worth it for the amazing views and the escape from it all feeling. The last 100 yards is steep and a front wheel drive vehicle will struggle if going slow. The first time up may make you nervous but you will be a mountain pro after just a couple trips on the road.

The covered front porch has a cozy seating area around the wood burning outdoor fireplace 🪵🔥with reclaimed Mountain Laurel deck railing. This deck wraps around the main level of the cabin including the prowl front facing the view with seating for the views of the mountain or the evening sunsets. The main level has a gourment granite counter topped kitchen and great room. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances as well as stacked stone bar with bar stool seating for three guests. The greatroom has soaring high ceilings, lots of large glass windows for viewing the mountains, a stone gas log fireplace, cozy sofa seating, and a dining table for 6 guests. Just off the kitchen is a half bath and the main level bedroom. This bedroom has a Queen sized bed and its own ensuite bathroom with a double vanity granite counter top and tile walk in shower shower and soaking tub.

Up the Mountain Laurel staircase is the master bedroom! The master bedroom offers a King size bed, a luxurious master bath that boasts a granite counter top double vanity, large tile shower, and a jetted garden tub for a relaxing soak. The master bedroom also has a private balcony, ideal for morning coffee or drinks for two while relaxing in the mountain air!

Down the stairs to the bottom level is the 3rd bedroom and the gameroom area. The gameroom has a stone gas log fireplace, pub/card table, wet bar with granite counter top and wine chiller, and the 3rd bedroom and bathroom. This bathroom has a single granite counter top and a tub shower combo. The bedroom adjacent to it has a Queen size bed. Just outside the gameroom level is the lower level deck with has the hot tub, patio seating, and access to the awesome outdoor firepit. Enjoy making fireside memories or roasting marshmellows over the open firepit. The hot tub on the deck is perfect for soaking cares away. Tupelo Honey Cabin is ideal for couples or family looking to escape to the mountains in luxury!

Please note we do not provide firewood for the outdoor fireplace on the porch or for the fire pit. The interior fireplaces and the grill run off of propane that is supplied. Please highly consider travel insurance as we are unable to provide a discount for weather, illness,or travel related issues. Covid and flight delays are especially prevalent these days.

Cozy remote getaway
This was a great property and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The view was awesome! As mentioned in other comments, the drive from the main road is gravel and can be pretty rough- we used a four wheel drive and had no issues. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, and there was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the cabin.

Family Getaway in the Mountains
Cabin was everything and more. The views were great. The three levels made it possible for us to have great family time while allowing privacy for each. The covered porch with the fireplace was where we tended to congregate. The kitchen was equipped enough for our needs. We were close enough to Blue Ridge to visit the town yet felt away from it all at the cabin. Would highly recommend and already trying to figure out when we can go back.

Spring Break 2024
Everything about the cabin and our stay was great! Not only is the cabin spacious, clean, and well maintained the views are incredible! Make sure and read the owners comments about the drive to the cabin. The last few miles were definitely out of our comfort zone and something we were not used. No complaints, Scott was a great host and responded quickly to all emails.

Retreat Success
Scott was very communicative and responsive. No surprises if you read the previous reviews. The cabin was absolutely stunning, clean, and spacious! We had a mommy and daughter retreat and it was amazing to get out of the city and be in a safe secluded place. I will definitely be going back with my family! The were in awe on FaceTime and the pics I posted!!! Thank you Scott!

Fabulous Cabin with great views
This cabin is superb. We stayed for a girl's trip and the layout was perfect. Each bedroom is on a separate level with an attached bath. We also loved having a separate game room with it's own fireplace. The drive up is not bad, but it is 1 mile up/down gravel, so don't get your car washed in advance. It was very easy to get into town. I had no issues in my AWD Highlander. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
