Disliked: Communication
Unit was beautiful, but..
Trying to get answers/communications with Host 'Grand Welcome' was infuriating! Mark was the only person who actually made an effort. Steve, left a welcome voice mail and 2 free tickets to a show, which was nice.
When we got there I received an e-agreement that indicated there would be a $100 fee for any noise complaint between 9pm-9am and $200 fee for 2nd complaint and each time there after. Which was never mentioned on the rental site. Now, grant it, we didn't have an issue with that, but what if you have little babies/kids, you can't always control that, or if a dog is barking at something they hear (since it is dog friendly, which I did appreciate!)... or a multitude of other possibilities outside of just down right noisy, rowdy guest.. I think that is just excessive! The unit was asthetically pleasing and pretty clean. Beds were comfortable. Bedrooms were nicely sized. Nice appliances. Unit was a bit cramped in the kitchen/living areas. The pool was nice. Upon arrival we found no broom, no kitchen towels/clothes, neither coffee maker worked, no cutting board, stained bed sheet on couch bed, some dirty dishes in the cabinets, unwashed extra blankets/pillows (cases), the only trash bag was the one in the can. Nightstand door was broke/didn't work. Sofa sleeper bed was very difficult to put away (I think one of the mechanics were either bent or broke), but eventually we'd get it back in. One of the kitchen chair legs were wobbly, we were able to tighten up screws somewhat which helped a bit. Entry doors covered in spider webs, webs on stairs inside stairwell. Needless to say, there are definitely things that can/should be improved, but we overlooked the cons, picked up the things we needed at the store that weren't at the condo, enjoyed the pros of the unit and overall had a nice stay.
