You’ll appreciate Big Bear in this beautiful cabin home. It includes everything you need to enjoy a great family vacation or couples’ retreat. Large cozy living room with Smart TV plus cable and plenty of comfortable seating, board games, and a wood-burning fireplace. Like bike riding? This home is situated in a neighborhood that boasts abundant flat roads and trails. Like hiking? The national forest is less than a mile from your front door. Listen carefully, the sound of braying wild donkeys is often heard. It’s not uncommon to see them in the evenings.

The kitchen, located right off the family room assures that everyone is always a part of the fun. Enjoy preparing your family meals in the fully stocked kitchen which includes a refrigerator, microwave, gas cooktop, new dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, and double oven!

Backyard:
The fully fenced backyard can be separated into two areas. This dog-friendly home’s backyard allows you to keep pets in a dog run if desired. The spacious area is great for the family pets or the kids. Being fully fenced, you know where everyone is. The backyard also features a high-end patio set for seating your family and friends, a propane BBQ, and a large hot tub in a private setting.

3 Bedrooms and 2 bathrooms:
The spacious master bedroom, is decorated in a wilderness theme, and is located upstairs. It includes a TV with cable, a king-size bed and a twin over full bunk bed, a walk-in closet, plus a large private balcony. Off the master, is a huge bathroom with a bathtub, a large walk-in shower, and an oversized dual sink vanity. A 2nd bedroom, in a bright and cheery fiesta vibe, is also upstairs and includes a queen bed plus a futon bed. This bedroom also features a large private balcony. The 3rd bedroom is located on the main floor. Featuring an old West cowboy motif, it includes a queen bed, large closet, recliner, TV with cable, and direct access to the backyard. The 2nd bathroom is located on the main level of this home and includes a shower and bathtub.

Blizzard wonderland

Let me start by saying many cabins look like your great grandma decorated it, BUT this place is freakin adorable! A perfect mix of mountain and Sass! The 3 bedrooms are massive and the living area is cozy! The property is flat which makes parking & loading/unloading easy! It’s about a 15min drive to the heart of town but it’s nice to be tucked away! We were thankful that it was pet friendly! A great getaway to make magical memories! …. Now for the company Meredith Lodging. When we checked in the staff was fantastic! The issue at hand is when you call for information you get random people with conflicting answers. We called and were told to drop off our trash at the office dumpsters. When we arrived with our trash they said no and sent us an address of where to go. Once we drove the 10mins to the 2nd location we were once again turned away because they said they sent us to the wrong dumpster drop off. They then said we had to go to a 3rd location. Absolutely ridiculous, especially during blizzard weather conditions. So we gave up and literally drove home with the trash! That would be my only disappointment.

We had a nice time at this cabin. The layout was nice, yet the property wasn’t a clean as we would have expected and the location was not ideal. It also lacked bath and hand towels, which were delivered the following day upon request. Otherwise the cabin was well stocked.
