About the home

“La Calma” is a delightful double-storey family home in San Remo just a short drive or comfortable walk from the beach and supermarkets, restaurants & cafés of San Remo. Some of the many features of this lovely home are detailed below:

Indoor Areas

Downstairs you will find all four bedrooms. The master bedroom has a walk-in-robe and ensuite with toilet & shower and bedrooms 2 and 3 each have built in robes. Bedroom 4 doubles as a multi-purpose room with a washing machine and sink and provides access through to the enclosed rear yard. The double garage also has internal access into the home. The main bathroom is also on this level with a toilet and bath. Upstairs is the huge open plan central kitchen / Living / Dining room with smart TV and sound bar and fantastic water views, a small space for a home office plus a rear and large side balcony, each with their own stunning water views.

Outdoor Areas

The rear yard is fully enclosed and is perfect for children. The large double garage provides parking for 2 vehicles with space for an additional 5 vehicles (cars and/or a boat) on the premises - either in front of the garage or behind a set of double gates on the opposite side of the property. The upstairs large covered side balcony has a bench seat and chairs for 2 people plus a gas BBQ. The rear balcony has another 2 chairs. There is a swing under the rear balcony in the back yard and the rear bungalow is accessible to guests.

Kitchen

The fully appointed kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, microwave, Nespresso Vertuo pod coffee machine, toaster, kettle, etc. plus a double sink, fridge, dishwasher, electric oven and induction cook top.

Heating/Cooling Systems

There is a wall mounted reverse cycle airconditioner in the upstairs Living/Kitchen/Dining room, ceiling fans in bedrooms 1, 2 and 3, wall mounted electric heating in all bedrooms, plus one additional stand-alone heater and fan which can be used where required.

Bedding Configuration

This home has 8 beds, accommodating up to 11 guests:

Bedroom 1 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 2 (Downstairs): One Queen bed
Bedroom 3 (Downstairs): One Tri-bunk, one Single Trundle bed and one Single bed
Bedroom 4 (Downstairs): One Single bed and one Single Trundle bed

Please note: The Tri-bunk has a double bed base with a single bed above it.

Linen

It is common in the region for some linen to be provided for bookings, and some linen to be available as an optional extra. By default, a booking at this home does not include optional linen (top & bottom sheets, bath towels and pillowcases). What is included are doonas (quilts) with covers, pillows without covers, tea towels, hand towels and bathmats. If you would like the optional linen included in your booking, please let us know, including which beds you would like it provided for. The additional cost would be a one-off charge of $30 per bed (some sites add a service fee to these costs) - and we prefer 7 days' notice prior to your arrival to get that arranged.

Peak Periods

Please note that during the peak summer period and other peak times, check in times are set as 3pm unless by prior arrangement. Please also note that if you avail of the optional linen hire over these times, it may involve linen being left out but beds not being made up.

Functions, Celebrations and Schoolies

Please note that the home is not suitable for celebrations, parties or large events. The home also does not take bookings over Schoolies.
