Great scenic property with character
Russell was an excellent host for our weekend away. Property had lots of character with customised linen. Loved having a full kitchen and house. Russell was super responsive and friendly. The property faces the lake which meant for lovely morning walks.

The owners have created a relaxing and enjoyable cottage right opposite Lake Alexandrina. The cottage was built in the late 1800's and has a rustic, cosy vibe. With breakfast included in the stay as well, it's great value for money. Would highly recommend.

Why they chose this property

Milang is one of those places that fly under the radar somewhat. It is a quiet town but has much to offer those looking for tranquility, a place to base yourself for wine and/or historical drives within 15 minutes or bring the boat, fishing rod, jet ski and enjoy the pristine waters without the masses who descend on other areas.

What makes this property unique

Sandilira is only an hours drive from the city of Adelaide and sits on the edge of the Fleurieu Peninsula. It is 15 minutes from the Langhorne Creek wine district and 15 minutes from historical Strathalbyn. The property is stand alone, private and has no direct neighbours. A 50 metre walk sees you on the edge of the lake and the start of a great walk down to the famous Milang Shacks.
