About this property

Escape to our cozy condo, just steps from the hiking trails, pool, hot tub and tennis courts of Ptarmigan Village. Tucked into the trees on Big Mountain, you’ll be 5 minutes from the Whitefish Ski Resort, and 45 minutes from the wonders of Glacier National Park. The main level provides an open, fully-equipped kitchen and living space with a tall wood burning fireplace. Watch the trees or the snow from large windows, or from the large private deck equipped with gas grill and patio furniture. The lower level and loft are accessible by narrow spiral stairs. The lower level has 2 private bedrooms (1 King and 1 Queen). The lower level full bathroom is newly remodeled with radiant floor heat and a washer/dryer. The full bathroom on the main level has a bathtub. The open loft (1 Double) is the third bedroom. The condo comfortably sleeps (6). There is also a floor mattress used for sitting in the loft which could be used as an additional bed in a pinch.

Please bring a baby gate if you are concerned about young children on the spiral stairs

Family ski trip

We had a wonderful time at our stay in Black Tail 95. It was a perfect location to ski Big Mountain, just a 5 min drive. Loved the cozy space, wood fireplace for apres skiing, and spaciousness of the cabin. Loft was perfect for our 19 yr old son to spread out, and the nice bedrooms on the lower level were perfect for my husband and I and our 14 yr old daughter. Also loved having the grill, and very close access to the pool/hot tub. One thing to fix would be the lower level bathroom door knob-the lock sticks. Overall, would definitely stay here again!! Would like e to come back to enjoy the summer hiking and lake. Thank you!
