About this property

Pacific Panorama at Maianbar

Escape from the city to this magnificent light-filled beach house, providing absolute sanctuary in nature. Located just one hour from Sydney’s CBD, the home boasts everything you need for the ultimate luxury staycation.

Situated at the edge of the Royal National Park and at the mouth of the Pacific Ocean, the home is designed in reverence of its beautiful surroundings. It presents three levels of contemporary luxury – each offering north-easterly views of majestic trees, lush foliage, and the clear blue waters of Port Hacking.

Initially built in the ’70s, the home has been recently transformed to suit your modern-day sensibilities, making it the perfect relaxing getaway for you, your family, and friends. This is one of the few homes in the area designed to sleep 10 guests in comfort.

Gaze over sweeping ocean views from our indoor-outdoor living areas, take in the seaside breeze and fall asleep to the sound of rolling waves. Complete with an indoor fireplace perfect for the colder months, this home has everything to ensure the ideal escape in nature all year round.

THE SPACE:

Ground Level: Walking through the large pivot door, you glimpse vistas of glistening cerulean water and native trees. The entertainer’s kitchen includes a movable island bench, ensuring the nominated chef feels connected to the conversation.

A generous dining table features banquette seating, an inviting lounge and a slow-combustion fireplace that provides several settings where you can gather everyone for meals and relaxation. Graced with a spectacular natural panorama, the main deck features outdoor seating and a designated BBQ area, ideal for those memorable summer lunches. This level offers two double bedrooms – all bedrooms have ensuites – plus the laundry provides a handy guest powder room.

Upper Level: Immersed in serenity with spectacular views, this level provides the primary and queen bedroom suites – each designed with its own particular luxuries. The primary suite’s floor-to-ceiling glass window invites you to enjoy panoramic ocean views from the ultra-comfortable king bed. Rounding out the royal experience is a spacious ensuite fitted with a double vanity, bathtub and a shower with a skylight acting as a viewing portal to the foliage of surrounding eucalypts.

Inspiring the perfect combination of relaxation and romance, the queen suite impresses with a private deck that features an outdoor bathtub with a shower and a love seat facing the ocean. This secluded balcony is the perfect hideaway to unwind and enjoy a holiday read or an uninterrupted embrace under the stars.

Attached to the queen suite is a walk-in wardrobe spacious study that soaks you in natural light, tv and lounge, which flows into your ensuite etc.

Lower Level: Extra space for the modern family is always a welcome luxury, which is why this level is designed to be highly versatile. The large 75-inch flatscreen with a sound bar is in place for interruption-free viewing, with a kitchenette nearby to help you keep everyone’s refreshments topped up with ease.

This level also includes a queen wall bed, which easily folds away so the adults or children can use the space as a media or playroom. Stepping out to the deck, you will find another generous undercover outdoor living area with its own BBQ. Another perfect spot for enjoying your morning coffee and a sunrise. From here, stairs step down to the tranquil garden terraces.
